They say a person makes or breaks an experience at a winery! Denise is no exception! She was so warm and friendly and fun and made our tasting experience a joy! If you're the owner and reading this, give that woman a raise! The wine is fantastic, we had the Viognier over at Jeffreys and that's what drew me in because I love a good Viognier but all of the wines were delicious and it was difficult to narrow down my selections as we already had 4 cases of wine from our trip back at the BNB. The reserve Cabernet is fabulous and stands up well on its own without food. The winner for me was the Mourvèdre at the end of our tasting, I am not a big fan of the M by itself without the G and the S but this has made me want to seek out other Mourvèdres to compare this one to! I appreciate that they are still offering that down to earth, approachable Paso hospitality when so many other wineries have gone high end. I believe that Sea Shell is on the right side of Paso History and will continue to do well while everyone else prices their wines and tasting fees outside of reach to the average consumer.
