Schaefer Complex has hosted the senior softball tournament in August for as long as I can remember. There have been changes made to the complex over the years for players and spectators, but the parking lot still remains a giant pain to navigate through to get out. There is definitely an increased need for more shaded areas for spectators. BYOC (chair) as the stands are older and offer no shade or coverage from the elements. While there are trees that you can hunker down under, it does not give the best view of the games. The restroom situation is interesting and not sure I can get on board with how they have decided to set up the facilities, specifically in the women's restroom. But, the field does provide for many games to happen, so it is good for tournaments. read more
