Visited the Rustic Pub for the first time on the day before Christmas Eve. The establishment opened just a few weeks ago at the location of the old Good Time Charlie's. Overall initial impressions were favorable. The business is still working out some kinks however. They serve food but don't yet have a food menu. (Holding off on trying the food until the menu comes out.) There was a chalkboard that listed sloppy joes, wings and burgers. No telling if there will be more food offerings in the future.
Also, do not have a beer list. But they had 4 beers on draft. Domestic bottles went for a good price-$2. Had usual beer offerings including some seasonals.
The bar had a clean and contemporary appearance. Loved the 5 large TVs behind the bar and 3 additional screens on two other walls. Should be a good location to watch sports. Not sure if they offer NFL Sunday ticket but playoffs are around the corner anyhow.
The place has promise but it's too early to say what improvements might be coming. I entered the business in Yelp but the bartender didn't even know the business phone number yet. No website or social media page either. The only way I knew the place opened was from word of mouth. The former on-site business was closed for years. read more
