I frequent this restaurant often for takeout as it's one of the only other ethnic food options in a town that has at least 5 Italian restaurants, all within walking distance of each other (insert eye roll). If you only experience takeout from here, you're missing a lot! We were a party of 4 and came here on a Friday night within an hour of closing and the restaurant was still busy. The staff was super friendly and quick to seat us and take our order. We didn't feel rushed though. The interior is clean and updated but nothing spectacular in terms of ambiance. We shared the calamari app with chili dipping sauce. It's not a very interesting or complex dish but it was cooked to absolute perfection. I've honestly never tasted calamari so tender and fresh. I ordered the black noodles with chicken. It's spectacular. The sauce is thick and rich and slightly sweet and even has a hint of smoke or char to it. I've had this entree as takeout and it is not the same. This is a dish best eaten as soon as it comes out of the kitchen, piping hot! I'll definitely be back and I'm going to make more of an effort to dine in! read more
