I found Nail Behavior online and was impressed with their Google Review photos. Their website for booking appts is ok but not as clear as it could be as a first time customer. The two ladies who run the shop are really nice. I came in for my very first (and only) set of acrylics for my college graduation. The nail artist who did my acrylic set took careful time to look at all my inspiration pics, my dress, and listen to what I was envisioning for my nails! Though my nails came out pretty good, she rushed my appt because her previous appt had put her behind. You could just tell a little that the nails were rushed when you look closely. I tipped her fat afterward regardless. I don't know anything about acrylics or the process, so perhaps I am just uninformed. But I called to make an appt to have the acrylics removed only. The nail tech who did my set informed me that they don't offer just taking the nails off. You have to book a full appt ($60) and choose nail removal as an add on ($20). Their website does have a disclaimer regarding soak off but does not address how you simply get the set removed when you are finished with your acrylics. I had to go to another nail shop (Nini Nails, they were great) to have my set removed (only $20 before tip). It took 4 soaks on one hand and 3 on the other to be able to remove them completely. The nail tech at Ninis stated that my acrylics were too thick. I will say, though, that I don't know how thick they're supposed to be, but I NEVER had trouble with the set breaking off or chipping at all over 3 weeks! To me, that's good! So overall, mid experience. If you get acrylics regularly, this may be a great shop for you! If you want something temporary but thoroughly executed, I would not recommend Nail Behavior. read more
