Initial impressions for the restaurant started out very good. The manager on duty was personable and industrious.
The restaurant interior is inviting and has a certain charm to it.
The menu is pretty extensive in the pie selection.
I got the calzone and the wife got the pesto pie.
Overall the flavor was quite good, but a big letdown was the crust. The crust here is extremely soft. There's no firmness to it. It could be almost pita like.
Also, don't get the olives side if you don't like green olives. We expected black olives and got green, we didn't eat them.
The biggest disappointment here is the service. Our waiter really didn't know what he was talking about and didn't engage us during the meal. Then he disappeared when the bill was due, 15 minutes later we had to fly down the manager to pay. The manager gave some strange excuse of being short-staffed, but this guy's just seemes to disappear. Maybe he quit? read more
