We loved that there are finally more matcha places in Vancouver that offers different types of matcha for different flavour profiles and preferences! The service was friendly and efficient, and there was a steady stream of customers on the weekend when we visited. We prefer a more bold, umami, and full bodied matcha so we loved that there were so many varieties and options. They also use 5g of matcha that is ceremonial grade with 30% sweetener, which is perfect because it is not too sweet. We ordered the Umi Matcha Latte ($7.65), Mori Matcha Latte ($8.15), and Onyx Hojicha Latte ($6.95). We definitely enjoyed all the drinks and we had tasting notes at the time but I have forgotten them now, while I do remember it not being as umami as I prefer. I think there is another one that is the most full-bodied but it was not on rotation that week.
