Central Continental Bakery was the bakery contracted with our reception venue, Chandler's in Schaumburg, and we were so lucky! They were very professional, the tasting went very well and they were attentive listening to ideas and coming up with a classic but unique cake together. We didn't want a cake topper, and we were only using real flowers for the wedding and not reception so we opted for flowers made from icing (which turned out really neat!). We wanted a cool ombre look because our colors were navy blue, light blue, white and silver. It turned out really neat without being so blue everyone's teeth would look like Smurfs lol.
