Blue Egg Bakery is a nice little bakery in the old part of Elk River, on Main Street, close to the river. We happened across Blue Egg while we were exploring local shops. What a nice surprise! All 3 of us grabbed some goodies and coffee. I was particularly intrigued by the peanut butter & jelly donuts - cool! This is a typical, iconic, small town bakery. If you're in the area, you have to stop in and buy something. Support a local business. We stopped in after lunch and the pastries were pretty picked over. Next time we'll try to come earlier.
