The cost of the Ramen is between 80 HKD - 110 HKD. They have other side dishes, like, French Fries $35 HKD and other things... Size wise: there is a "FULL size" and a "Regular Size". The "Full Size" is supposed to be much bigger, but it didn't really look like much of a difference. The place is small, so not too much seating space. Mostly bar style seating. I was in heels and not prepared to walk far. Our eyes lit up as we saw a new ramen joint. We ventured in and had the most delicious bowl of ramen I have had in a long time. I have been back several times and all are equally tasty so I know it wasn't the booze controlling my taste buds. I'm slowly working my way through the menu, but each soup is delicious. The pork is succulent and the noodles - well the noodles are cooked to perfection. I like them "middle" al-dente. You can also choose from "thin" or "thick". I go thick (like you should). As a bonus, have a bit of cheese. They melt and someone burn the cheese once on the noodles that give it an extra delicious smoky taste. Eat ramen now. Yum. Burp.

You know, those little ramen joints at some back alley but are always full. It's a shame nothing else followed reminded me the same way. For starters - the server did very little to make us feel welcome, if at all. I rarely complained about service (hey, it's Hong Kong after all!), but as a Japanese restaurant, at least they are usually trained to pretend to give a dime about service. Apparently the sausages are pretty popular here, but when my friend asked, he seemed to hesitant to explain the difference of the sausages on the menu. You may feel more comfy if you are a repeated customers. But all repeated customers start as a first-time customers at some point of time right? Ordered sausages and fried dumplings. Nothing particularly impressive. The ramen. I ordered the spicy one. It's the good kind of spicy, but (1) It's double the size of the usual ramen my friends ordered. Nowhere in the menu indicated that size, and I hate to waste food. Also I realized that, other than the extra bbq pork I ordered on top, the spicy ramen practically got nothing in it (some small pork chucks, I supposed, but since the ramen noodles were so blew out of proportion you couldn't really think that's a proper ingredient). It's supposed to be healthy and without MSG and all. Umm. Okay. Wouldn't queue for it, but wouldn't mind to come again to try another ramen dish to make another review.

I actually love a clear soup base, so their new item caught my eye right away, their other signature chicken base is of the creamy more intense kind. Noodles were as usual, al dente and the char-sis were tender and not too fatty. The eye yolk blended into the soup add another level of velvet smoothness to the whole experience! Other items we ordered, Chicken Karrage, Beef Sushi and Marinated Onzen Egg, all came within expectation! Don't trust me with these directions... I probably took the back way in or something. //Edit - It's in the Harbour Crystal Centre! I enjoyed their lunch sets. It's decently priced for sushi, but it's still on the expensive side. I ordered their 8 piece sushi set for 200 HKD. This came with 8 pieces of assorted sushi (I don't remember all of them), fatty tuna roll, salad, soup, this little vegetable dish, and dessert. The way they brought it out was interesting. They first gave me the salad and a small vegetable dish. When I was done with that, they gave me 3 pieces of sushi. I was done with that too, and then they gave me 4 pieces of sushi and the soup. Finally, they gave me the last piece of sushi (I believe was the uni) with the fatty tuna roll, and an egg. Mmm... I approve... The last part of the meal was the dessert. The day I went, they had an option of cheesecake, creme brulee, and I swore they said condense milk pudding... but when I got the dessert, it was black sesame pudding. Oh well. It was still delicious! Oh! The chef does come by and talk to you too! He's a nice fellow. Checking in to see if we were satisfied with our food, or if we were full, or if we all got our orders, and even told us what desserts they had. Nice man. He also jokes around.
