This is the mall of stores that surrounds the airline check-in areas in this terminal. Muji is a popular brand in Japan and they have many stores in Hong Kong. This is a very condensed version of the full-scale store. The offerings here are meant to appeal to travelers. The product selection consists of men's and women's clothing, stationery, travel goods and a sizable snacks and grocery product selection. If you want to get clothing here, it would be best to come here before you check-in so you don't have to lug it as a carry-on. Some of the items looked a bit bulky. They do have things like travel pillows which seem pretty appealing if you are taking a long haul flight. But what drew me here was the selection of snack products. They are reasonably priced and perfect for snacking on your flight. Bought a pack of marshmallows and soymilk castella mini doughnuts for HK$10 each. Not only are the snacks here good for snacking, but they would make for a nice little return gift for someone. They are small so they don't take up too much space. If you are looking for goods to make your flight a little more comfortable or for some last minute souvenir gifts at the airport to bring back home, check out MUJI to GO.

No sign/label, low key, and completely focus on the quality and utilities. A bit niche market for above average price for its positioning. I love the airport one as it is conveniently located, and well selected for products category. The travel part is essential. I bought at least two neck pillows here. Yay, for sure, it is more than easy to source suit cases, eye masks, passport holders, stationary and TRAVEL TOILETERIES. Oh man, you don't wanna see the custome throw away your expensive branded moisture! Check that in and get these little travel set here and Muji. Fragnance free.

The Ralph Lauren is pretty huge and was quite crowded too, mostly with mainlanders and their baggage at hand. For the classic mens' Polo shirts, you want to head all the way to the back of the store - it's obvious because you'll see all the folded shirts displayed in a color coded fashion, so it's basically a wall of color. There's almost every color imaginable here! Everything was 30% off, and given the fact that they're pretty expensive to begin with, 30% is a sizable discount. We spent some time choosing between the solid colors and the plaid shirts. Eventually, we decided on getting one of the plaid shirts. But there was a problem - we had no idea what size to get him. We couldn't decide between the small and the medium - we considered the fact that he's around medium build for a guy, but since he's serving National Service back in Singapore he's probably lost quite a bit of weight. We were asking one of the sales ladies for her opinion, and she told me we could have one of the male staff try on both sizes so we could compare. This was really nice of them, especially the male staff, as we had him try on the small, the medium, and then the small size again! In the end, we went with getting the small size. I think the Ralph Lauren is a good place to go to if you have a solid idea of what you want. It's no fun to poke around here because it's kind of crowded, and there's also sort of a weird musty smell clinging in the air. The salespeople are all very nice, so that's always a plus.

From high-end brands like Burberry to Nike, along with many local and international stores offering big discounts. As a visitor and first-timer, the mall was a little confusing to navigate at first, but it's very convenient since it's directly connected to the Tung Chung station. There are also restaurants and additional shops outside of the mall area, which gives the area a lively atmosphere. Both the Novotel Citygate Hong Kong and The Silveri Hong Kong hotels are attached, making it super convenient for travelers. One thing about Hong Kong, there are lots of shopping malls. This one I wasn't too impressed with.

There's also a movie theater and a myriad of restaurants offering authentic food. I came across this place called Lian Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. I ordered the Tofu and mushroom salad, Thai Chicken skewers, Thai Wings and a strawberry and guava smoothie. The food had amazing flavor and was delicious. Of the dishes the Tofu salad was the best. The Tofu was seasoned and cooked perfectly as were the mushrooms. The portions were large enough and priced accordingly. It's definitely a place I'd recommend when visiting Hong Kong if you're looking to kill a little time before your flight.

Kate Spade is probably one of the best stores inn the Citygate Outlets. I find that a lot of the…read morestores here, being outlets, feature all the rejects and last-seasons that nobody wanted to buy. There's a sort of staleness in the air, and nothing just really catches your eye. But Kate Spade is different. Kate Spade is actually one store that doesn't scream 'everything here are leftovers from seasons' pasts'. Maybe it's the bright colors? I don't know, but going into the Kate Spade at Citygate always excites me. First of all, there are 30% discounts even on new items - yes, NEW items. And as for all the older stuff, you can expect anywhere upwards of 50% off! And unlike many of the stores in the outlets, the stuff here actually looks good - cute handbags, quirky accessories and wallets in neon, but not tacky, colors - all at discounted prices? Yes please! Actually, the main reason why I hold the Kate Spade outlet so dear to my heart is because I once saw a nice leather bucket bag at the Sogo store. I was thinking of buying it, but the next time I was back it was gone - and then, months later, I saw it at the outlet at a 50% discount! It was such a steal, and I was elated when I saw it. So if you see something at Kate Spade, hold your breath and head to the outlets a couple of months later - they just might have it and at a fraction of the price you saw it for! On the downside, the store is often pretty crowded, mostly with mainlanders doing their shopping while towing along suitcases. The sales ladies are more likely to help them than to help you out, so don't expect top notch service here. But seriously - if you're at Citygate, don't miss Kate Spade. It's one of the few outlet stores where the stuff isn't just obviously thrown here because it was the least popular in the range. You'll be able to snag some great deals here, so what are you waiting for?

The store is pretty huge and the racks were filled, so it gave me promise that I would leave with at least one good purchase. It's even connected to an Armani Exchange outlet. But most of the casual ladies' clothes and accessories look outdated and a little ugly, and the ones that are half-decent aren't very much discounted. But that's just from my perspective - if you are a parent, this is the place to be. Tucked all the way at the back of the store is a kids' section - and the kids' clothes are, in my opinion, ten times more attractive than the casual women's clothes. The girls' section was filled with adorable t-shirts, some adorned subtly with the DKNY logo and others with colorful graphics of flowers or a city scene. There were some really cute coats too, perfect for when the winter months roll around. The boys' section had a nice selection of t-shirts, patterned pants and capris as well. Everything is pretty heavily discounted - a pair of jeans going at around $200 - so this is the perfect place to stock up on your kids' clothes. If you're a guy looking for suits and collared shirts, you'll be glad to know that there are racks and racks devoted to just these. However, some of them are really crumpled and obviously in need of a good ironing, and some look like they have been sitting in the store for a while. I didn't look at the prices of these and wouldn't know what the 'market price' is, so to speak, of them are, so I'm not sure if they are considered expensive here. Bottom line - come here for the kids' clothes, and possibly the suits. If you're looking for women's casual fashion, you should probably should give this a miss - but then again, you've come all the way to Tung Chung anyway, so might as well take a gander but don't expect that many things will catch your eye.
