Best experience ever. Service was on point too! They offered to switch our table because we ordered too much food haha. Can't wait to go back when I visit HK the next time.

Resto is one of my go-to places seeing as I live right next door in the Gold Coast Residences…read more Resto, while small, somehow is always able to accommodate me during the weekend lunch times. I tend to get pizza here - the house deluxe is my particular favorite. If you're feeling hungry and/or want some to take home, make sure to get a medium as the small pizza size is actually smaller than a traditional dinner plate. I also adore their iced cappuccino - there's just something yummy about it that is the best way to start the day (ironically as this place is next to a coffee shop). The wait staff are attentive and generally pretty friendly. They speak limited English but I always am able to communicate what I would like and they always get it right so we make it work. They have both indoor and outdoor seating so its great to have those options too. I really like this place, and would recommend it for family, friends, or any sort of group looking for some good, casual food.

This local food chain is everywhere in Hong Kong for those who are having withdrawals from eating pasta. Unlike the typical Italian pasta selections, The Spaghetti House combines both Chinese and Italian influences to make their pasta dishes one of the more unique dishes I've ever seen. To start, the atmosphere is very different. Although I checked in at the airport location, the location in Mong Kok is as lively as ever. The menu offers dozens of selections from appetizers to pizza to pasta and some rice bowls (risotto) to your liking. The dishes are crafted specifically to include some Chinese ingredients while maintaining the Italian influences such as the types of cheese and the tomato sauce. The drink selection offer an array of drinks that allow the Chinese culture to enjoy while providing comforting options such as sodas and wines with your meal. Service is completely different than the places I've been in the United States. Service can lack due to the highly busy atmosphere but servers are always attentive. When asking for the bill, it's typical and normal for the waitstaff to wait for you to pay before leaving and coming back to pick up your check. I've noticed this at almost every sit down restaurant here in Hong Kong. while this could be awkward for some (I know it was for me from the beginning!), this prevents the staff from forgetting about who they gave the check to and some how is more efficient in getting you your change and out the door when you're ready. I would recommend this place to those visiting who are looking for a night of familiarity...a home away from home, if you will.

During my last visit to Hong Kong, my flight was delayed and Singapore Airlines gave me a $180 HKD dinner voucher. I decided to finally dine at The Spaghetti House. I decided to order the Double Cheese Spaghetti with crabmeat and shrimps al forno and the garlic focaccia as a take-out order, so I can take it back to the SilverKris Lounge to eat. If I was able to turn back time and redeem my voucher at the airport Popeye's or McDonald's, I definitely would. My meal from The Spaghetti House was absolutely disgusting and inedible. Upon opening the take-out trays, there was a foul weird smell coming from the Spaghetti w/ crabmeat and shrimps al forno. I attempted to eat a couple bites but I ended up throwing away the entire entree after my first few bites. The garlic bread tasted dried-out and not too flavorful. I honestly should have read the Yelp reviews on here before I redeemed my voucher here. If you are trying to get a meal in between flights, you are better off eating at the Airport food court.

The only thing I would say about this is that it was very noisy, which was to be expected! And it was lovely to see the kids playing on the beach, but if you were after a quieter affair maybe best to visit this lovely park island restaurant on a weeknight, instead of at the weekend. Food was lovely, modern Italian food. Very refreshing and light after some of the heavy stodgy Italian food available in Hong Kong. I had the Grilled Chicken and Aubergine Salad with Chickpeas, which was delicious! My colleague had the Italian pizza which was very authentic and had a crispy thin base; which all the pizzas comes like here. So if you like deep pan pizzas, best to give them a miss here! I would definitely return (maybe on a less noisy weekday evening!) and try a risotto or a pasta.

Reservations are a good idea for big parties. My friends said the ribs weren't that great, but other than that, we loved the starters, the red house wine at HH prices, the friendly service, and I loved my spaghetti. Pizzas are big, very thin crust, and it's got great views and a chance for the kids to run around and play. A+.
