The apparel, though boring and sometimes shapeless, is well-constructed and occasionally yields a few good basics such as cotton knit button-downs and lightweight down vests.
Overrated:
The packaged food is extremely overrated; many offerings taste how they look (no personality).
While they have a large selection of beauty products, the quality is lackluster (nail polish particularly disappointing, as well as creams that leave a sticky residue). You are better off with other brands.
Other things:

Muji tends to discontinue items without advance notice (which is annoying since they offer 'staple' products). read more
