Located in the paid areas of the Tai Wai Railway Station, this is no doubt a strange place for an…read moreorganic food store, but hey, it is what it is. Farmfresh330, as its name suggests, sells a variety of fresh, healthy food like fruits and nuts. Besides food, they also sell things like all-natural soaps and shampoo.
When you first walk into the store, you'll see some fresh fruits like bananas, apples and cherries displayed prominently. I've noticed their fruits aren't very cheap - you can definitely get them cheaper at say, Wellcome or even just fruit stands on the street, but I can see how buying here would be a good option for those who live in Tai Wai. After getting off the train, they can stop by here for some fruits and head home - I know my mother has done that a couple of times.
They sell a variety of healthy snacks too, like dried fruit and chips that are supposedly baked, not fried. I've seen some chips sold here that I've never encountered at supermarkets, so the products here definitely aren't very 'mainstream', so to speak. Again, a little on the pricey side, but that's just how it is with organic and natural food!
I'm the kind of person who really likes organic food and eating healthy, so this is my kind of store, but I've walked out of here empty handed more times than not. I suppose it's the relatively higher prices compared to other places, and that the store isn't very big and is often a little crowded, making it hard to have a good look at things.
