One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in town. It's not expensive, but at the same time it can…read moreget expensive if you load up your plate or get veg that have tons of sauce! Reason being this veg restaurant is very much buffet style. They have tons of options for you to choose, you can put as much as you want on the plate of one thing and none of another thing, at the end they weigh your plate and then you can pay by cash or octopus for your plate. I usually get my food in the to go container since I rarely ever finish my food, and I love eating the leftovers from here because it's just that good. When I take it to go, I usually just get one bowl of rice and one bowl of soup with me. However, when I eat here, I end up eating bowls and bowls of their soup because it's so delicious. I'm not a huge rice person, so I'm good with just half a bowl of rice or less. However, their veggies and soup are just... simply delicious. I love coming here when I'm sick because I can just drink all the soup I want! #win

Nice vegetarian restaurant on campus. The lunch buffet charges by weight, so proceed accordingly!…read more Rice and soup are free and unlimited however, so you can load up on these for a cheap meal.

I'm totally happy that I only live 2 blocks away from this wet market.. It is on the smaller side-…read morebut I can find most everything I'm looking for on a day-to-day basis. I especially like the stall run by 2 Thai women who stock things like Thai basil, super spicy Thai chilis that are more flavourful than most others out there, among other staples found in Thai cuisine. I am somewhat disappointed that there are not more fruit stalls. The fish is just as good here as it was from Ap Lei Chau market and about the same price... I really need to make it to the wholesale food market during the early hours to make a comparison, but it seems last time I was there-- only large quantities were available.

The area is not fully enclosed so it's exposed to outside temperature, meaning it gets uncomfortable in the summer. I highly recommend getting the "goo lo yuk" or sweet and sour pork.

Truly a Convenience store!…read more I think we take 7-Eleven Stores for granted in the USA. In other countries such as Thailand and Hong Kong, they're more than what we think! Even in Hawaii, 7-Eleven serves up musubi - a local favorite. This particular 7-Eleven had a Hello Kitty hand sanitizer. I HAD TO get it because it was the last one on the shelf...sorry, My Melody! I also got a cute Hello Kitty surprise toy! Hee hee! Foodwise, my friend was excited about "cherng funn" which is a Hong Kong comfort food consisting of wide, flat, rolled noodles, topped with sesame and soy sauce. I passed on the hot sauce and agreed to the sesame seeds. We also got Hong Kong milk tea - I had to add 2 packets of sugar because it was potent to me! The strongly brewed tea contains a lot of caffeine! I also appreciate 7-Eleven for being open everytime I pass by. The convenience of loading more money (Hong Kong dollars) onto my Octopus Card (Hong Kong debit card) makes life so much better!
