Barber: the reception who take my booking is far far far from friendly or helpful. From the moment I asked if I can do a 7:15pm appointment, she keep rushing me to come so she can get off work early. Then I change it to a 8:30am one, she seems okay at the start, then before I leave I asked if you have any aftershave for sale, she basically just said look over there and ignore me. Also I called in to book under my last name, no idea why she keep calling me all sort of names throughout, not to mention the black face.
The barber started by saying he is very experienced from the US etc., I asked for a normal gentlemen haircut and he keep saying just tell him how I want it cut. I would expect an experienced barber to suggest what best suit my face, where can trim more, where to keep; not the other way round asking me to tell you, then I might as well cut it myself in front of a mirror. Asked him for wifi password, he just go I dont know and ignore me. I have to even asked further can you please find out? Though at least he was very polite comparatively.
Every hotel can buy the most comfortable bed and best interior design to be a Porsche hotel, but its your staffs that makes the main difference. By telling me how long hours they work, is not my problem. I paid for a service and expect a service. I always stayed at MO whenever I traveled especially monthly in Singapore and never experienced anything like this especially your barber reception. What kind of services were those? I understand you have stable clients and high profile billionaires that come here as your barber claim, and I am not as rich as a billionaire, but I pay the same price so I am not sure what he is implying. Are you implying peasants like us shouldnt come? Not to mention my haircut was sub-par. Totally disappointed. read more
