Located at the top levels of The One in TST, I wasn't even aware of the name of this shop at first. I just remember there is a place that was rather dim and sells mainly designer appliances and gadgets above the cinema of The One and is not a place that I would normally go. Nonetheless, when it comes to present giving seasons, this shop is always at the top of my list to go to; not least because there is some real originality in the items sold there and would make decent gifts. Thick card boards puzzled together into a stool? Check. Chessboard that is not flat but with creases and dimples? Check. Put it this way, for the items sold here, certain time has to be allowed before you can figure out what exactly the object is; that is what I call design with thoughts. This make the gifts that much more interesting as finding out how the thing actually works become part of the fun. I am most certain that if I am keen on decorating my room or have the say in what to put and how to put, the whole shopping experience would definitely be more engaging; yet the space and the placing of the items make it already enjoyable enough to just walk around and fussing around with the stuffs there.

I know I did, which kind of freaked my love out a bit. Anyways they have so much stuff here from umbrellas and lunchboxes to really cool clocks and neat organizing shelfs. I actually bought bento boxes here to bring back to the states because the quality seemed too good to pass up and I wasn't wrong. My sisters really liked them because they were from the brand black&baum i believed in england and they were just good. Yes, I know, I will stop boring you with details about bento boxes. They have a ton of cute stuff for your home and decor for random stuff too so be sure to check this place out if you care about living in style as well as practicality.

There are 5 Homeless stores in the city but if you live in Kowloon, the Tsim Sha Tsui branch is the…read moreone to go as it is the flagship branch. It is also less crowded than the branches on Hong Kong Island, so that's a plus. I consider it as in alternative to IKEA and Pricerite, especially when I want more quirkier home goods. Homeless has been going at it since 2003 when they had their first store. Two years later, they established their foothold in Hong Kong Island by opening a flagship store in Central. The most significant thing that I found out about furniture stores is the difference of how they make you feel at home. Homeless provides this atmosphere the most, with dim lighting and and a rustic feel. IKEA has it but mostly it feels like you are in a warehouse, while Pricerite is neat and clean that feels prefabricated. Aside from the furniture, my favorite thing about Homeless is the numerous choices of accessories. I have found pen stands, magnets, clothes hangers, and other cool bric-a-brac. The huge catalog that Homeless sells consists of lighting fixtures, various clocks, chairs and tables, art sculptures and kitchenware. They also carry niche furniture brands from Europe and Asia as well as other hard-to-find and obscure brands. I will be moving house late next year and plan to redecorate our flat with lots more of Homeless goodies this time around. Orders are also available through their official website but I recommend going to the various branches in town (especially the flagship stores) to get a feel of the product and how it may fit into your home.

This is true as of now, a few weeks back I found myself looking glass jars for preservatives; that's when I truly realize that I have completed my role from being a twenty-something free man to an early middle aged family man. This is the beginning of my downfall, the end of my wild days- days of suburbia. What has it got to do with the shop? Well, this place very much sells stuff that a family needs- not likes- needs. You will find kitchen items, study essentials, pre packed snacks for kids; all the stuff that you really need if you were to start a family from scratch. Why has it got 5 stars? That's because every time I was instructed by the almighty to find items that I had no interest and no knowledge of finding, I would find it here. Lids for jars of different size? Checked. Cover for the ironing board? Checked. Plastic boxes for organizing stuff at home? Please choose your colour. Its a really convenient place to find stuff like that and its just so good that I don't need to make 10 trips to find them in different places.

This chain is basically a 100 YEN store, similar concept to a 99 cents store. However, unlike most 99 cents stores, the product quality is better (with the exception of Dollar tree which does sell some brand name products). I highly recommend going to a location and checking it out.

If it is too high then move on to the next one and the next one. However if they pull you back, then listen to them. Perhaps it's a good deal. It really depends on the particular vendor. Eventually I did an excellent deal. I recommend it going even once. Just follow the people heading that way. Or when you see it, you know you're in the right place.
