I actually came in looking for smaller designs and bought two pairs for $100HKD. A mentioned earlier, my hair is short, and I'm not quite ready to sport accessories yet. The hair clips here are just delightful. There are shimmery and shiny ones, as well as options for everyday. So while working from home, I took a short break, put my hair up in a bun (so no one would notice the half-ironed monstrosity that was my hair) and ran to Professional Hair Products to see if I could find a replacement ASAP. I found their section of flat irons and though I didn't recognize any of the brands, I chose one that looked legit and had adjustable heat settings. A quick swipe of my credit card and I was able to walk away with a working replacement. I've been using my flat iron for a few weeks now and I'm happy with my purchase! Muji is a popular brand in Japan and they have many stores in Hong Kong. This is a very condensed version of the full-scale store. The offerings here are meant to appeal to travelers. The product selection consists of men's and women's clothing, stationery, travel goods and a sizable snacks and grocery product selection. If you want to get clothing here, it would be best to come here before you check-in so you don't have to lug it as a carry-on. Some of the items looked a bit bulky. They do have things like travel pillows which seem pretty appealing if you are taking a long haul flight. But what drew me here was the selection of snack products. They are reasonably priced and perfect for snacking on your flight. Bought a pack of marshmallows and soymilk castella mini doughnuts for HK$10 each. Not only are the snacks here good for snacking, but they would make for a nice little return gift for someone. They are small so they don't take up too much space. If you are looking for goods to make your flight a little more comfortable or for some last minute souvenir gifts at the airport to bring back home, check out MUJI to GO.

Dresses are usually around the $600 mark with knitted and leather goods a little pricier. Speaking of which, the winter knits and leathers are divine but frustratingly on sale in the high heat of summer and rarely in winter. The rule of thumb here is if you want it but it on the spot as the boutique stocks only a few of each item and you can bet it will not be there the next time you swing by. Be prepared to put on a balancing act when it comes to the fitting rooms but don't be put off - the prices are reasonable considering you're buying 'designer'. They also accept EPS and can (sometimes) order in additional sizes if you're willing to commit to the purchase once it arrives. Watch out for small details like patterns running in opposite directions between panels on dresses etc.

It is a little gem of jewelry and accessories, many made by Tina, most made by artisans from around the globe. Funky stuff. Resin, wood, yarns, fabrics, leather....most pieces are made with unusual products. Necklaces, earrings, clutch bags, scarves, rings. Many are big, bulky, statement pieces. There was a lot of stuff on sale when I was there, but prices in general ranged from $200-$1500, depending on what it was. I bought two necklaces. Both long, one made of pea size wood pieces ($300) and the other on sale at $200, a long soft navy cord with large wooden balls tied into it. I think the quality is there and I think the unique designs are super cool.

As is expected, Sam and Company sell pens, notebooks, printer paper, craft supplies, card board, red packets, greeting cards, as well as some rather random items like inflatable Hello Kittys, paper lanterns, plastic fruit and footballs. In fact, so good is the stock in there, that when I was recently looking for a non-self inking customisable 6 digit number stamp - yep, that specific, and had already flustered most as though I had asked for a left handed mug, the lovely owner/sales lady didn't bat an eyelid and just asked what size. I kid you not, she had an entire box of non-self inking customisable 6 digit number stamps. The point to the story is that Sam and Company have a lot of stuff. It's on shelves, piled on the floor, hanging off the ceilings, nine out of ten they will have what you are looking for (unless it is the aforementioned left handed mug). If you don't see what you want, ask the staff, there is so much more stuff secreted away behind the counter or out back. My only grumble is the staff can be a bit pushy. If the product you want isn't quite right, they get a bit shirty if you don't to buy. They also follow you around the store, but maybe that's just me and my dodgy looks? A definite must for anyone who needs anything craft or stationery.
