I'm a little ashamed to admit that I have only properly discovered this place today...me that I pride myself on knowing every good bookstore. However, it was a happy moment. Somehow I had missed the 'English books' sign at the entrance and only saw the 'Chinese' one...so I came in and was sooo happy to see that it's actually a whole floor of English books on pretty much every subject you can imagine. As I walked through it I couldn't stop to check out the books until I got to the end of the shop and scanned it completely. At the end of it there's a big space for stationary and there's even a section for magazines alone, on different topics: sports and leisure, cars, lifestyle, etc. I then came back to the main aisle where most of the literature is and checked it out again: they have different sections: biography, philosophy, (a lot of books on) business, history, (a ton of books and resources on) languages, travel guides, etc. As you come into the shop you'll see a shelf of 'new arrivals' and a desk with 'bestsellers' in front of it. And on the right there's a miscellanea of books.
This is only for the English section; in the basement they have another floor with Chinese ones. Shame that it took me so long to find out about it but now that I know it, it's quickly become my favorite bookstore and I'll be there more than once just to have a look, it's so much fun to browse around book shelves! read more
