We managed to grab a plushie that was literally hanging by its tag and should have fallen into the prize chute, but the staff refused to give it to us. That was incredibly frustrating after spending money trying to win it. Arcade and claw machine games are already difficult enough, but when it feels like the rules change whenever someone is about to win, it's hard to have any confidence in the games or the business. Would not recommend. There are plenty of better ways to spend your time and money in Hong Kong.

We found a good deal for it on Groupon (as how we find a lot of the things we do...), found a mutual date that works for us all and went. Do take note that you do have to book in advance and tell them which of the six rooms you want! I can't reveal too much or I'll be spoiling it, but the games here are pretty good. Yes, plural, because we've tried four out of the six rooms and if anything's an indication of how much we liked it, this is! The games really require you to be thinking on your feet and working closely with your friends. You'll have to be 'in the zone' and really focusing to be able to get into it! If you're stuck, you can press a button and the staff will come in, see where you are and give you a hint to help you out. Of all the rooms we tried, my favorite was Banished. It had the coolest storyline in my opinion, and the clues were very cryptic and creative. I really enjoyed all the rooms we did, and my friends felt the same way too. It's a very accomplishing feeling when we're able to successfully get the key and escape the room within the time limit! I think doing one of these mission games is a great thing to do with friends. It's different, and it really gets your brain working! The staff here at Mission X are very nice, and if the room hasn't been booked after your slot and you're still in the middle of solving your clues, they'll give you extra time. The rooms here are a little small though, so I don't recommend more than four or five people in a room at once. Having too many people isn't good either because it lowers the level of teamwork!

If you didn't book your movie tickets before hand, you won't even have a chance to get good seats unfortunately. Finally, after some google-searching, we finally found this café, which we are initially quite skeptical of; we had no idea what we should have expected. We arrived around 10pm on a Saturday night and realized that it was completely packed. We so fortunately found one table that was available. It was $30/person/session. They have tea and water on offer, you can also buy your own drinks, like vita lemon, vita soy, etc. cheaper than 7-11! At Capstone, there were hundreds of board games, games I know, games I've never seen nor heard of, Chinese games, Western games, Korean games, anything you can think of. Of course, out of all the games, it is impossible to know how to even play a third of the games available there, but worry not, the people who work there (the night we were there, the owner, her young son and another worker) can all help. They were all able to assist by teaching us the games we wanted to learn. When they see us playing a certain game, they would even recommend games they think we would like. Overall, we had an amazing time there that evening. We could have stayed for longer, but they close at 12 so our time was limited. Very nice gem, if you're looking for something different to do.

It is my favorite attraction in Fantasy Land in any park because of the dark, cool, and windy break from the outdoors, and the showcasing of Disney songs from my childhood. I don't always need the best seat in the house, so when the doors opened and people sprinted (literally!) for the middle & center seats, I opted to use the very front row to cross over to the other side and sit in an aisle seat close to the exit. I was all alone over there, but I like that sometimes. In this case, it's because I like to sing along with the songs. As far as 3D films go, this one is tamer than most. I usually don't like 3D films but I enjoy this one. Some of the pre-show (before you enter the theater) is in Cantonese, but the entire show itself is in English. This show is a fun way to cool off. I wish it were longer!!

If you've ever watched Mark Rober's YouTube video on carney games, you'd know most of the skill-based game booths are total ripoffs and are nearly impossible to win. However, if you wanna have a chance at winning something, I'd recommend the duck-fishing game (random chance), or any of the dart throwing games (esp the 1-hit win games). Food isn't overly marked up, which is nice. If you leave the park, reentry is prohibited. Personally, I'd recommend visiting the park at night since it can get hot and there isn't much shade, plus there's a different vibe and lighting at night. Overall, lots of fun for kids and even adults.

Adult tickets cost 130 hkd and come with 10 tokens and children tickets cost 90 hkd and come with 7 tokens. The rides cost between 3-6 tokens so you can go on a number of rides with the entrance ticket.

But this one, K11 Art Mall on Hanoi Road, is much more our style. It is very close to the MTR train station and stays open every day from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The mall has 7 floors, 5 above ground and 2 below. It is not like a regular, boring mall. It mixes shopping with cool stuff everywhere. The stores are perfect for younger people. We saw a lot of local streetwear, cool pop-up markets, and unique designer clothes. They even have a Pop Mart store inside, which we loved! The food areas are great for a casual meal, and the whole place feels very new, modern, and clean. We had a great time here and highly recommend it!

It took a minute to navigate through the crowd, but we finally picked out a really cute one for her (fingers crossed she doesn't have it yet!). If you're shopping for gifts, this is definitely the spot, just be prepared to squeeze through some serious crowds! Pros: Insane selection, super cute displays. Cons: You need sharp elbows to get to the shelves!
