The store is located on Castle Peak Road, right by the Tai Tong Road Light Rail station. It's at the heart of Yuen Long and very convenient to get there by any public transportation. This store may look very small from the outside, but it's actually 4 levels high. The first floor is mainly electronic appliances, TV, water heater, iron, fans, etc. The 2nd floor, they have a lot of plastic containers, boxes, trash bins, etc. The 3rd floor and 4th floor are all home furniture. They have good selections from bed, mattress, sofa, cabinets, chairs to coffee tables. There is a customization station where you can bring in the measurement and customize furniture you desire. I have customized furniture at Pricerite before. It usually takes about 7-14 days. It's well known that the furniture is being stored and made in China on demand basis. It's really not a secret. If you ask one of their staffs, they would not hide where the products are made and shipped from. The service at this location has been great. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Unlike IKEA, they actually wrap and tie the products for you here.

To brief you on Airland and its bedding: the company emphasizes clean technology, quality products made with social responsibility in mind. They have a few collections, and their main branch in the furniture mall in Sha Tin is the one that made me aware of their pillow collection, specifically: their aromatic pillows. Yes, my pillows are scented, and I regret nothing about this eccentricity. I'm going to have to install a few of these badboys at the boyfriend's because his IKEA ones lack the plumpness and aromatherapy I am now so spoiled with. He keeps telling me what a good night's sleep he's had when he's over - I don't want to tell him it's the pillows, because I think he thinks that I'm his lucky sleeping charm. And that's nice. So, my pillow has been stuffed on the side with a bag full of dried lavender. Let me tell you: one whiff of this as you're hugging your pillow to sleep, and you're in a whole new state of calm to count sheep. The scent does fade after a few months, but the plumpness of my pillows has persisted for almost a year now, so I'm pretty chuffed. They also have goose feather, memory foam, neck support, and long Queen size pillows, among others. I wouldn't be afraid to just have a field day in this shop and test them all out. If you're like me, a perfect night's sleep is the pinnacle of existence so I would definitely recommend a trip here to make sure all your bases are covered.

No matter what the outside world has changed for different times. Wong On remains the same , old fashioned and good quality store for family . You can come here for clothes , shoes , house ware items , sports sections , sun glasses , skincare , jewelry, etc. it is like a Macys in U.S.A. It has good prices for good quality merchandise. Today I was attracted by their jewelry brands and Desigual purses ( designed from Spain ) . House of Amber Jewelry is from Denmark since 1933 . They made the Amber into all kinds of jewelry and they are all beautiful ( rings , pendants, necklace , etc) . This section also had very good quality Amber . Next to that is the pearl jewelry section . The pearls are giant size with satin appearance and soft luminescence. A few jade pendants and rings are next to that . I went upstairs to look at the Spanish design Desigual bags . I did not find the leather bags I wanted but there are lots of different faux leather bags and denim ones. If they are not on sale , then it would not be a good deals . The Wing On in East Tsim Sha Tsui has more items on sale today . You can also buy Desigual bags from website in U.S.A. Macys or Norstrom on line with deals . They are easily returned ( to the store ) for refund if you don't like the size or other reasons in the U.S.A. Of course , the tags have to been all attached and never been used . There are many other items in Wing On that are nice to buy . But I am focusing on these few in this review. Wing On has always been known as a more down to earth department store, offering a great variety of clothing, home-wares and other accessories. Even a quick glimpse on their website will show you the variety of the products they stock both online and in store. From baby strollers and kids tea set, to razors and cool boxes, it is a veritable treasure trove of stuff. Unfortunately, the store does have a reputation of being super local, but it in fact stocks a lot of international brands, especially in the household appliances department. Like any department store, there are lots of floors, and plenty of square footage. It's nice and spacious and pleasant enough to browse around. The products are reasonable priced, and are often discounted on top of that. Always ask for discounts, or in store promotions (this in fact goes with any HK shopping, always ask for a discount!). You may find that they will knock a few % off the price, or guide you through some in store promotions. A good example was when Mrs L and I bought some towels. First off, they had this super luxurious UK brand, which is popular back home (certainly with the Queen, no less), but not very known, let alone stocked in Hong Kong. Then on top of having the brand, there was a in-store scratch card lottery to win stuff. We won HKD200 in vouchers to use another time, sweet! Don't let a bit of a "local" reputation put you off, yes the store is full of mainlanders, and the staff speak bobbins English, but if you persevere, you can get some great goods at a low cost.
