I am visiting Istanbul for 2 wks and picked this place because of the great online reviews. I called and made an appt but there seemed to be a miscommunication due to language barriers so I just walked in. They greeted me warmly and seated me immediately. I initially went in just for a color. Multiple people worked on my hair at the same time. I ended up getting a cut and blow dry as well. Everyone there is super friendly and I got endless cups of complimentary tea and coffee. My final result did not exactly match the reference photo I provided but the level of artistry that went into it is so ridiculous it doesn't even matter. Before my visit my hair was over processed and about 4 different colors from black to blonde ombré. They bleached it multiple times (I have black hair) and then hand painted the colors on. The cost is NOT expensive. With the high level of service and complimentary drinks for the hours I was there- including a tip - it is still cheaper than the highest priced salon I've ever been to in Washington DC. I got a keratin blow out and it was by far the most hurtful painful experience with sores on my scalp and the owner was pulling my hair I kept saying ouch and she kept going she burned my ears, neck and scalp. It was terrible 2 hours of pain. My head is still sore a week later and my hair has a terrible smell to it like burnt smell that I can't get rid of. I was completely scammed paid 250.00 USA dollars! I have sores inside my scalp meaning my scalp was bleeding! I will never recommend this salon to anyone and definitely not tourist! I also noticed something very interesting.. the bottle of Brazilian blowout was empty and I saw the guy go back refill it with something and put it back on the shelf whatever they are using is not the real product! Edit review- they sent me a what's up message after posting this saying I made her cry and basically implied they want me to remove this review. This is an honest review and I want people to know that truth and the pain I endured during a blow out. My pedicure and haircut both turned out very well, however when I went to pay at the end my total was nearly double the prices I saw online. They added charges for my hair being washed, dried, and "styled", as well as extra charges for a "medical" nail service and extra charge for adding color (which should be part of a regular pedicure.) None of the charges were disclosed to me during the process. You would think that after being 45 minutes late and me not complaining at all, they would offer a discount or something for the trouble but instead I paid even more. Salon itself is nice, my nail tech was lovely and the hairdresser did a really good job on my cut. I am just disappointed with the customer service, tardiness, and up charges.

After traveling for 5 days, I definitely needed a shape up and shave. I just expected a small little barber. Hell, I wouldn't have been surprised if the barber didn't even have a real working space. Nonetheless, after going up and down the block a couple of times looking for this place, I was finally directed by a group of people outside. One of them pointed downwards toward the large full window sign. I walk downstairs to find a very clean, well lit, highly professional salon. The hair dresser/barber was extremely friendly. He told me the price, which I thought was pretty fair at the time. (Little did I know how much time and effort would be put into my "shape up") I took a seat and away we went. He started out by asking if I wanted tea. Psh. Why not?! The tea was a bit strong; so strong I found myself shaking as I was drinking it. If you can't tell by my profile photo, I'm all beard and no hair on top. Out comes the straight blade. And no motorized shaving cream dispenser here - real brush and bowl. After creating a thick lather, he whips out a lighter. He then uses the lighter to disinfect the straight blade. After the small pre-shave ritual, he goes on to cut my hair. Straight blade took care of everything. Very clean. Almost completely perfect, save for literally 2-3 stubbies that didn't quite fit the line. However, I'm set for a few days now. He brings me to the sink to rinse off. Warm towel time! I'm already in heaven. Definitely worth the price I paid. But wait! There's more... After the warm towel, I'm treated to a head and face massage. I'm back in heaven. We're now well into an absolute steal of a price! Overall, I got the royal treatment for a price I pay in the US for just a shape up. My barber was very professional, soft spoken and put in so much work. And complete pleasure, and I would recommend anyone treat themself to a haircut or shave here.
