For travelers, this Flohmarkt is walking distance from the Circus hostel (http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-circus-hostel-berlin#hrid:ZC2gIeaW7zh4mAJlP75xRg/src:self) and it's jam packed with goods from local artists and entrepreneurs. I bought myself a nifty pair of Lego earrings that I still like to wear when I'm in a playful mood. A word of advice for travelers, be prepared to bust out your English-to-German handbook here, as I found that fewer people spoke English. Thankfully I know enough German to get by, but I know it was more of a challenge for my traveling companions. It's really worth going to have an authentic Berlin experience!

This one is relatively small which is nice if you wish to stay away from the chaos of Mauer park and you may even pick up that piece of vintage WMF or the box of cheap batteries you have been looking for or the tat 70's Berlin memorabilia to give your friends back home as gifts. Check the weather before going to gauge how many stalls will be there. The better the weather the better the market is.
