This one is relatively small which is nice if you wish to stay away from the chaos of Mauer park and you may even pick up that piece of vintage WMF or the box of cheap batteries you have been looking for or the tat 70's Berlin memorabilia to give your friends back home as gifts. Check the weather before going to gauge how many stalls will be there. The better the weather the better the market is.

This market is well kept in comparison with some others and the products are of a good standard. Prices vary of course but you can haggle and I have found that on the most part people will settle for a fair price. You will notice that the people at this market tend to be a bit older but that does not mean that is is old fashioned and boring, perhaps the area is just a little less trendy with the younger customer.

This is a market for your real hardcore fleamarketeers, you may go here week after week and not find anything useful but you will get your hands dirty. It was like someone literally went through their closet, pulled a bunch of stuff out and set it on a pile, expecting others to sift through them for buried treasure. Most booths were like this. Sorry, but it seems a little surreal to expect to take the time to go through someone's old garbage, when they themselves couldn't be bothered to fold up the clothes/make the booth presentable for customers? Other booths were more professional looking/easier to look at. You can tell that they actually gave a shit about what they were selling, and it's true; they were selling some really awesome, DIY stuff! I bought a few tote bags and handmade goods as a result. The prices were reasonable and the people were extremely friendly. It seems like this flea market is a little young and I'm not sure if I would go back. Seems unlikely considering there are waaaay better flea markets in the city.
