My husband used to live in Olomouc, so we had to come here to eat when visiting. The decor is…read morefriendly and the atmosphere is a very local feel. The service was rather cold and short (like she was annoyed with us) at first, even by European standards. She patently refused to understand my husband's Czech, but she didn't speak English either. not sure what her problem was, but she threw down some English menus, so they do have some.
After about an hour, she warmed up to us a bit. I guess she was just in a bad mood or maybe had a recent really bad experience with other Americans?
Anyway, aside from that, the food was absolutely delicious. They have a varied menu, so if you aren't used to Czech food or have been in the country a while and just want some variety, they have plenty of options. I wanted some variety, so I ordered a spicy pasta dish that was phenomenal. Everything my husband ordered was perfection as well!
