Super disappointing that every time I come to this location that I get the rudest dude at the counter. The Mid-city location has a way better quality of service. They have a great and huge selection of stuff but unfortunately can never get set up with someone willing to answer some questions. read more

I had a really disappointing experience working with a staff member named Cristian (NXLCP7) at ZZ Flux on 08/16/2026. When I walked in, the place was not busy at all. There were only four people in line, yet there was just one staff member working the counter while the other employee was occupied with other activities that didn't seem important. Even though I was next in line, it took approximately 15 minutes before I was finally helped. To make matters worse, when the phone rang, Cristian answered it and proceeded to spend another five minutes chatting with the customer while I was standing at the counter, ready to pay. The entire experience was unnecessarily slow and reflected a mediocre attitude toward customer service. For a location that was barely busy, the wait time and lack of attention to customers were unacceptable. To make matters worse, about five minutes after purchasing a 1-gram all-in-one STIIIZY vapor pen, I discovered what appeared to be a product and packaging mismatch. The original packaging is designed to contain the all-in-one vapor pen, yet the box contained a detachable pod and charger instead. Red flag #1. The product was also missing the rubber cap covering the mouth area that typically comes with STIIIZY and other competing vapor pens/pods and serves as an indicator that the device has not been opened or tampered with. Red flag #2. The top of the STIIZY box was held together with a custom ZZ FLux sticker indicating that it was open prior. Normally the box is so hard to open and your must slit the top sides of the box and slide it up by pushing your finger on the backside in a predesignated area move the to box outwards from itself. Not the case here. Red flag # 3. I immediately returned and brought this to Cristian's attention, but his response was dismissive. This isn't simply a customer-service issue. **Consumable products must be handled, stored, packaged, and sold in compliance with applicable FDA food-safety and retail-handling standards, as well as California cannabis regulations.** Selling a consumable product that appears to have been opened, repackaged, or tampered with before purchase raises serious safety, sanitation, and regulatory concerns. Cristian didn't think so y at leadt offering to exchange the STIIZY for another one. To put it simply: **you wouldn't accept a supermarket telling you that an opened package of food is your problem after you discovered it had been tampered with right after purchasing it. The same basic principle should apply here.** I hope people stay away from ZZ Flux for their own safety. If products are being sold in packaging that appears opened, altered, or repackaged, consumers have every right to question whether what they purchased was tampered with or manipulated for profit. **When it comes to consumable products, safety should never be a gamble.** Receipt # 907KNJ read more

Unfortunately every time I stop by I am met with a really rude worker named Matthew. I'm always leaving with a bad experience because he is very condescending for no reason . Most of the workers are not really friendly anyways but this one sucks. He acts annoyed from the jump from you just being there then throws your stuff around. Tried to make me pay full price for an item that was 50% off even though I showed the price on my end . Had to leave empty handed I couldn't stand to keep going back and forth with this moron. read more

Despite the handful of name changes, this spot remains supreme! Love that their CBX and Stiizy selection v plentiful and they always have some sort of deal going on (essentially cancelling out the annoying taxes). Andddddd they now have a soft serve machine for complimentary treat! Shout to Sevan who continuously gives 5 star service and is so gracious, along with a few other staff that have been there for a bit! Great value and experience always, and happy to have it in the neighborhood! read more

Huge selection, very friendly staff, great prices. I don't smoke much weed, so I'm able to get a quality 8th for $13. Can't beat them!!

My husband is someone who not only appreciates cannabis, but uses it to curb his anxiety and help him sleep. He has some experience with these non-licensed spots near us that sell knock offs laced with who knows what. Now, Dr. Greenthumbs is the only spot I get his cannabis. Clean, with tons of variety and knowledgable staff, this is the place I am able to get him what he needs, and try new products. Whether it's the Heavy Hitter edible gummies, Cheech & Chong films, Subherb cars and vapes, or a variety of pre-rolled (he's not a flower guy), this is the spot I can trust for legit product and quality pricing. Be sure to use the app for discounts (example: Happy hour is 1-420 pm - 20% off everything, Certain days have certain products discounted, etc) and when you spend 100$ pre tax - you get a token for the claw game. Now, I used to always win, but I'm sure they adjusted it in recent months because I can't win for shit anymore. But I still appreciate the novelty of it. If they are every out of anything, you can sign up to get called when your preferred item comes in - but even if they are out of stock, they have alternatives and will direct you to products you may also enjoy. read more

They always have upbeat and very knowledgable employees. Everytime I visit it seems like they have some sort of special or promo going on. I recently made a visit and I had many questions about their CBD products, they were able to point me in the right direction and supply me with a wealth of information and products that actually worked. The vibe is positive, even the armed security guards greet you upon entry. They abide by all the social distancing rules, the establishment is clean, professsional and they have Grade A products. To be honest I have been a Cypress Hill fan since 1991 and I appreciate the position they have taken within the cannabis industry. read more

Took my weed head sister to re-up on her medication. The cannibis gurus were friendly and attentive. CASH ONLY! There is an ATM but there's a fee of course. You also get 20% off on your first purchase. Dr. Greenthumb's is huge and had a wide selection which was organized by rows of Sativa, Hybrid, and Indica. Airtight packaging- jars & the bag, which I appreciated cause I can't stand the smell. No pics allowed inside but I posted a pic below of the items she purchased. Easy parking out front! Update: pics ARE allowed! So I've added a photo my sister secretly took. enjoy! read more

Came to Dr. Greenthumb's to buy some CBD Oil for anxiety and help with sleeping. The employees were all friendly and informative. Friendliness truly goes a long way when it comes to new customers. The woman that helped me (can't remember her name) did a good job at explaining the difference in CBD to THC ratios. I ended up getting a 2:1 ratio. Also, this shop has the best deal when it comes to CBD oil. I'm fairly new to dispensaries because I don't really smoke. So I was looking for the best price on CBD oil since I noticed that other shops charge more than others for the same product. I compared prices and Dr. Greenthumb's had the best deal. I will definitely be returning to buy more CBD oil. They have some cool bags by the way, haha. Tip: Take cash. They have an ATM machine but most likely there's a fee. Or you can use your debit card which there's also a fee for. read more

I am so happy with this place, I wanted to share. It starts at the door with very friendly and respectful security. Who do a quick, hand-held scanner-wand check. Then you check-in at a kiosk with another friendly person. Literally, takes less than a minute. I have shopped here several times now. The place is huge for a dispensary. And, they have an amazing range and variety of products. But, I'm a very basic, no-frills, keep-it-simple kind of guy. I like their House Vape - good effect and great $ value. Today, I went in to pick up four 1g cartridges of sativa House vape . The associate who waited on me was incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. I told her what I was looking for. She knew exactly what to show me - four different varieties of sativa House to choose from. Two of the varieties are "infused with live resin". I hadn't seen these before. The associate told me that they might be a little bit stronger than the non-live resin. I thought... "a bit stronger? - I'm pretty cool with that!" And, get this --- same great price as the non-live variety (which, as I stated, I've had and really like). The price was so great, I could easily give a 10% TIP which makes me good and the associate feel good. Win -win -win! I left there feeling so good, this is crazy - I can't wait till my supply runs low just so I get to visit them again. Love these guys! read more

Loved this place! Everyone was super friendly and helpful and they gave great deals. I will definitely be back!

Huge place, has great selections on flower but was very upset when I purchased an oz of there cookie cake by cookies recently. They didn't have any of it out in those little display containers but thinking cookies you'd think it has to be good. So when I asked for it and paid they told me it was specially grown it's called sun grown. To imagine my disappointment when I opened the bag this sun grown weed yeah more like homegrown outdoor weed that wasn't given any attention to. Shouldn't be using these wanna be fancy terminology like sun grown just call it what it actually is outdoor Reggie and the price for this outdoor Reggie weed was not worth what I paid for don't do that to your customers. Mite infested clones (see pics). I drove up from Long Beach to pick up some up some dark heart clones. The shop looks nice from the front and inside, but when you start looking at the strains you will notice that only about 25% of them are actually in stock. I asked about a strain and bud tender said oh we haven't had that in a long time. Why is the jar still on display then? I guess they need to give the appearance of a huge shop with all this variety to justify long waits in line and high prices. I ask about the clones and the budtender says they just sold them sorry. I had called in advance less than an hour prior. She says they have more in the back but only their "clone guy" David handles them. Ok it happens... I'll try again tomorrow. Day 2 I call in advance, they say can't hold them for you first come first serve. I make the 30 min drive up there again. David goes to the back of the shop and brings out some clones. I take a quick peek and ask him a few questions about how they've been cared for so far. They have ropes keeping you about three feet from the counter so it wasn't easy to inspect them. My mistake was having faith in this shop to sell safe quality products and I didn't check them closely. I assumed the dark heart brand would carry some quality? No. By the time I got home i realized they sold me the worst mite-infested clones you've ever seen. Had to make another hour round trip to get a refund - minus the gas money, time, and the tip I originally left. David acted like he couldn't believe it and had no idea. If his job is to manage the clones then he needs to be replaced. I've had to sterilize everything in sight and hope I've seen the last of this shop's bugs. I should have really went over them closely before I left the shop. B real should be ashamed having any affiliation with this place, it's a bigger joke than his recent music. BUYER BEWARE read more

I came in the other day to check out the deftones passenger box. Was dissapointed to see it was priced above 530+ even with my first time patient discount. Everything disposable inside even the vape. So that was a hard pass by Chino even as one of his big fans. Overall the bud is dank but the prices are inflated. I got the panacea but i paid almost 15 bux less for it at GoodStuffCo. In gardena area. Haha and if you use the atm they charge you 3.50 plus 2.50 later on your card. Its like 6 bux they charge you so you can make it easier for them to launder their money. Wtf? Lol nah bro i aint coming back. Its all hype. And you can get the same stuff cheaper with better customer service. The girls at Goodstuff co are always giving me 5 percent discounts and free prerolls because im a regular. Thats bomb service. This isnt it especially for the price. read more

Post Covid19/Social Distancing review My visit included the implementation of social distancing such as having to wait outside since the maximum occupancy was reached. The guard kindly said that it would be a moment and that was fine because that is the world we live in now. Came to pickup up an on online order for CBD oil I made online via weedmaps. After arriving, I met with the receptionist and showed my ID and that I was there for a pickup. I was directed to step up to blue line and wait for the next available budtender. First time patient so I received a discount for the items i picked up. 20% wasn't bad off my entire order. My budtender told me about the daily specials so that I could return on those specific days. Having to stand behind the blue line while trying to hear her speak thru her mask was something I guess we all have to get used to. As far as prices, for CBD there wasn't a noticeable difference from other dispensaries that I could tell. Dr, Greenthumbs is like visiting an apple store. I can easily spend all day there and drop lots of cash. I was in a rush so I didn't' linger too much but they have everything. I was surprised to see that they had volcano vaporizers for sale. Most shops have them as a special order but the Dr. was stacked and loaded behind their cases. The store was clean and well organized. The Staff was friendly and overall felt safe and welcoming. Other shops just look shady with iron doors and dim parking lots. Similar to seeing iron bars on your GF bedroom windows, you know your are in a bad area. The amount of lights on inside the shop was more comforting than armed security. Nothing bad ever happens with that amount of light. Roaches hate that! Check out the menu online and if you have any questions, give them a call. They were more that happy to answer my Volcano questions. Weedmaps rating on Dr Greenthumbs is a 4.2 of 5. How different would life be if that was your GPA in hs or college? Keep on Yelping. read more

First time today. Plenty of parking, no problem getting in quickly. From security to check in, everyone was very friendly. The shop is big and super nice looking. Plenty of selection from flowers, to devices and clothing. My bud tender Frances was very nice and super knowledgeable. I picked up a Napalm bomb and a Dr. Greenthumb G Pen Dash. Well worth the drive. My experience was mind blowing. I pulled into the parking lot and they certainly have a lot parking spots, plus+ curbside. (Curbside can be either Weedmaps or phone order) -this is a plus+ when I need to hold my order till I arrive; As I walked to the front door there is a red carpet with ropes, which made it feel like I was walking the red carpet to buy the stuff that I could usually get from a trap shop. Greeted at the door, I checked in with my ID. There staff were all happy to help. This was a great opportunity for deals they have buy one get one promo. I walked the amazingly huge shop looking at there bud bar that is though out the shop. The best part is the price, At this time Happy Hour is a big deal to hit and got to learn more about the way I smoke. I told the bud-tender what high I'm looking for. I gained knowledge as I decided my purchase. I recommend this spot when buying from now on. Spend enough and play theses game to win some more free items. Wholy Moly this is amazing read more

Great dispensary, roomy, chill staff, lots of selection & price points. BUT DUDE, THE MUSIC They are always playing the gnarliest, nastiest hip-hop and trap, turned up to the point where the speakers are about to blow. When I can comfortably linger in a dispensary, I spend twice as much. When the music sounds like a parking lot full of car alarms going off while gangsters are screaming obscenities at me, I get my 1/8 and get the heck out. I'll keep coming because the fundamentals of this business are good, but I wish they could find a Sirius XM channel that doesn't make me want to grind my teeth into sand.
