I drove my classic Royal Enfield into this shop for a service, some new rocker covers mounted and…read moreto check the timing.
After two days Michael rang and said the bike was ready to pick up. Michael was glad to take my money ($350 euro) but forgot to tell me the bike was not finished. When I spoke to the mechanic who had worked on it (Peter) he told me my regulator had not arrived and the bike was not finished.
The bike was not tuned right (after a full service you would think otherwise no?) and we spent 35 mins just to get the carburetor running, After a tour around the block the bike stalled and I had to push her back to the workshop, by now Im starting to get worried about what kind of circus these guys are running.
I discussed with Michael about the job that was not finished and said that I would leave the bike there for them to get her running smoothly, He told me in no uncertain terms that the bike was "not his problem anymore" and he was not only not going to do anymore work on it but That my bike was "a shitty bike" (sound professional to you?)
I drove off with my bike spluttering and feeling like shit.
As if that wasn't bad enough 1km down the road my bike now blows a fuse!!! Wow what talent these idiots have!!! I push my bike back to the workshop and explain thats the second time today I've pushed my bike back to his workshop for problems he has created on my bike. He told me to go get fucked this time and wouldn't even allow his worker (Peter) to explain where the problem may be in the short circuit.
Now after spending 4 hours pushing my bike around and stripping my bike back I realise what they have done. They set the fuel tank ON TOP of my wiring into my front headlight and main ignition switches which stripped back the wires and was shorting out every fuse I had!! Total amateur work!
These idiots not only did a terrible job but Michael was totally rude to me and left me with more problems than I arrived with.
I would suggest everyone to steer very clear of these guys and their terrible workmanship.
Thanks Pig 7 for wasting my time and energy.
