It attracted my attention during my visit of Karlovy Vary as a place that looked like it could be into Tiki coctails, so when at the end of the evening I had an opportunity to stop there with some extended family, I absolutely jumped on the opportunity. And oh boy was I not disappointed.
While the decoration is not on the level of pioneers of the Tiki revival, the bar fends off for itself pretty well and boasts a massive wall of various alcohols, liquors and infusions as it's bar - that is put to good use in its menu.
In addition to several expected classics and a couple of local riffs on different Tiki themes, they also have a special Karlovy Vary blend - served in a typical mineral water drinking cup and based almost entirely on different Becherovkas. While I got that one as a meme, it actually was surprisingly delicious - a pity the recipe will be kept secret by that spot for a while!
The namesake cocktail of the Bar (Barracuda: rum, galliano, ananas and lemon juices, prosecco) was quite great as well - I was really not disappointed.
With all of that, the price remains still reasonable (by western standards), so my final take is that it's a pretty amazing spot!
