The Sonne with a cosy pub by the side called The Junge Alban both are run by Tilo Lutz and his mother Rosel. The Sonne has lovely tidy, clean and airy rooms with all on suit facilities and great food, the Junge Alban has just renovated the upstairs rooms which are now all on suit. On some Sundays in the year Tilo puts on a Piano Breakfast, this is a buffet at which he plays the piano and sings, it is always very popular the atmosphere in the Alban is relaxing and the drinks are of high standard. But the best of all is the home made Black Forest Gateau not to be missed. The area around the village is great for walking as the forest is just at the back door. We are regular visitors. Breakfast is not included (€8/person) with the hotel rate. Overall, we were happy to get a good night's sleep in a non-smoking room. There are several restaurants within walking distance (including a bar/restaurant) across the street and a bakery down the road. Even better, they have parking directly in front of the hotel and a garage below the hotel.
