For the main, I followed a colleagues recommendation and had the kinder Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Champignon-Rahm Sauce. The portion was still ample!! The taste was heaven!! It brought very fond memories of a restaurant in Cleveland called Sutters which sadly closed years ago. In any case, this schnitzel was excellent!!! The server had quite a sense of humor! I paid for the dinner. Upon leaving with my four male colleagues the waiter says, she bought the dinner so she didn't have to cook. Lol! Of course. I just responded. True. Tannenburg is one of those places you have to drive to, but it is still a cool spot and the interior is well laid out. Great location, the owner is a pleasure to talk to, and now for the star of the show, the schnitzel. The size is that of a plate, pounded thin and cooked well for whichever sauce you can choose, or go wiener art. The sides are also on point and there is no chance you will leave here hungry. This one is worth the drive. Get there early as they draw a crowd.
