The was an outstanding restaurant that my friend Mathias selected. The restaurant opened in 1817.... that's correct, 1817 and has been operated by the same family since it opened. I started with a Bouillabaisse soup with toasted garlic squares, outstanding! Then on to a fresh caught sea bass over a bed of just picked peas, carrots, cabbage and a mess of other stuff covered in a light cream sauce. This was out of this world! We ended this fantastic meal with an expresso and Creme Brûlée.....YUM
For those of you that have played Medal of Honor video game, it was like you where there. The restaurant was nestled in the northern Germany countryside and it looked like it was right out of the turn of the century. The family was very personable and attentive to us and the experience we had.
