We have been to this restaurant a few times and the food is fairly good. For a quick lunch or decent Eis Becher, it does the trick. They have plenty of outdoor seating, and it's good for families with kids as they can watch the occasional train pass nearby. I have had schnitzel and goulash here. Both were good and made in traditional East German taste and technique. The goulash was good, but I've always preferred Hungarian or Czech style goulash. Nevertheless, it was still tasty and the meat was tender and juicy. The prices are normal for the area.
We did order carry out on one occasion and the food was delivered in Styrofoam containers without a bag. Not only is this not the most environmentally friendly option, it was also a bit of a hassle to carry without a bag as many of them leaked gravy and juices. Of you order carry out, you might want to bring your own bag with you. read more
