The restaurant looked nice both inside and out but the sun was shining so we opted to dine outside. My friend suggested I try the Susländer Sauere Rippchen (short rips in a delicious gravy with some fried onions, side of green beans and perfectly cooked pan-fried potatoes with particularly tasty pieces of bacon). Wonderful! The fall-off-the-bone ribs had a wonderful crust and melt-in-your-mouth pork fat. Everything else was of equal quality. My friend had matjes which she enjoyed and we split a nice piece of cheese cake. Generous portions and very friendly service rounded off a wonderful visit to this restaurant in the sleepy town of Glückstadt. Worth the trip for this meal alone.

Ein wahrer Genuß für alle Fleisch- und Grillfans.. Aber fast noch besser ist es, das Steak selbst am Tisch auf dem HEIßEN STEIN zu grillen. Jeder Bissen wird hier zum Erlebnis, heiß und natürlich auf den Punkt gegrillt. Eine weitere Spezialität ist unserFeuer-Lachs auf der Planke gegrillt. Hier wird das rohe Lachsfilet auf einer Zedernholzplanke auf den Grill gelegt und gart so indirekt und schonend. Das Fleisch bleibt saftig und wird direkt mit dem leicht angebrannten Holzbrett serviert. Riecht nicht nur gut, schmeckt auch gut! Aber unser Star ist das riesige 1500g Tomahawk Steak für 2 -3 Personen. Mehr Fleischgenuß geht nicht! Unsere Weine sind ebenso "von Hand ausgewählt".
