Two quotes were close while the third was significantly more expensive. We have a large ranch house that has an enormous roof with an attached garage. Yahaira reached out to me and provided a quote. After many questions, which she answered quickly and directly, I decided to choose Q and Q Services. Juan from Q and Q gave a timeline that was two weeks shorter than the others to start the job. As promised, his crew was there within a week to start the job. The roof went up within three days. The crew started early in the morning and worked tirelessly into the night. The gutters needed to be replaced, and Juan provided a very reasonable quote. The gutters were done the next day. Yahaira would check in with me to see how the project was proceeding. After the job was done, the clean up was spotless which was important since I have two dogs. I highly recommend the team at Q & Q. I'm looking to use them to replace the soffits.

Their estimate was #3500 for replacing wood and siding through the periphery of the house which was excessive. This roofing company came highly recommended from a different office/home business company.) This year (2026) I finally decided to replace the roof to avoid any additional issues. The person in charge of selecting the roof listened to what my wish was and provided several options, from which I was able to select a wonderful high quality shingle. When the project began, all my shrubs around the house were covered to avoid damage. The team was efficient, respectful, kind, and very hard working. I would give them a 5 star review and highly recommend this family owned roofing company. They answered all my questions, all my concerns, and completed the entire roof in 2-days. A. Holt

They brought at least a dozen color samples. We sat down and were fully informed in the most professional manner about the cost, financing available, timeframe and what to expect. Bob, Angel, JC, and Giulia are all fantastic! They took care of all village permits. From our estimate to completion was 11 days and would have been shorter but the village permit takes time. They arrived at 7am and our roof was completed by 6pm. They also properly vented our bathroom fans through the roof included in our roof replacement. They left our yard and driveway completely clean and free of debris. With a bit of snow still in the ground, they came back after it melted to double-check that all debris was cleaned up. I wholeheartedly recommend TU Construction. Nice people, great work, prompt, professional, and communication was excellent! Very happy customer!

I called one of the "big"companies here in town and I was promised a quick solution. I waited. About a week later someone showed up to take a look, then he disappeared. About a week later the same guy showed up again and took another look around, promised a quote, and disappeared again. By this time I had become frustrated and called Dan. He showed up the next day and fixed the leak in my roof for $20. He went above and beyond and filled some hairline cracks in my chimney, too. About ten days later I finally received $475 the quote from the other guys in the mail. There was also another rainstorm and my roof was weathertight. No leaks in my roof or my chimney. I'll be calling Dan next summer to replace my chimney flashing - he was professional and thorough.

He's very professional and you have the added comfort of him being bonded, licensed and insured. *side note: he does not do squirrel removal, he just fixed the damage done by the squirrels.

They answered every question (and there were many), accommodated every one of my requests (reasonable or not), and did a fantastic job on the roof. Their references were helpful and accurate, the quote was accurate, the team that worked on the project and on the roof was very professional. Responsive and timely as well. As to the other review regarding them being late on the day after a storm: while I was determining which vendors to include in the process I happened to call when some major storms swept through Lake / McHenry / Kane county area. When there is major storm the roofers are overworked and trying to get to as many people as possible in a day. It is not reasonable to expect them to be on time on a day when there has been a big storm.

I had already made a claim with my insurance company (name intentionally withheld). With the estimate in hand, we hired Benjamin Brothers to complete the work and be our representative with our insurance company. I didn't want the headache and they knew what to do. As typical with insurance claims adjusters, they tried to nickel and dime the claim and Lee and Cody fought back to get the repair covered and each piece of damage compensated. Due to the back-and-forth, the job was delayed (weather/seasons) and the insurance tried to not pay the depreciation funds. We fought back again and the funds were finally released. The work was done professionally and when there was a slight issue with the repair, they corrected it immediately. They were responsive to our e-mails and phone calls and helped us through the dealing with our insurance company.
