We saw some outstanding reviews of this garden restaurant a little outside of the city (not more than a few miles). The food is classic Swiss and really outstanding. As the chef told us afterwards, it is not "fancy" Swiss food, but very high quality ingredients and done right. They have a lovely outdoor garden and on a Friday were busy but we got a seat right away. They have English menus and our waiter was friendly and helpful. Food was great: cordon bleu, osso bucco, steak, shrimp salad, mushroom toast. Desserts here are fantastic. Family-run and so welcoming. Worth a trip away from the city center if you would like an authentic, tasty and friendly Swiss eating experience.
