This review is not about the service. Sitting inside gave me a direct Birds Eye view into the kitchen... unfortunately. After ordering I had to watch the person in the kitchen, while preparing foods, eating and licking his fingers. It completely ruined my meal!! The taste wasn't bad at all but i was already too thrown off having to watch this the entire time i was there. I'm super bummed, my 20$ meal was left on the plate.

We did not have a reservation but because we were early, they found a place for us before the reservation folks arrived. They even offered us menus in English, and could not have been nicer' Hands down the best German/Swabian food we have ever had....not to mention amazing service. We had the Schätteres Dreierloi with potato salad, the meat plate, and speatzle. Truly amazing...and very affordable. Recommend reservations, and make sure to take Euros or Ecard.

Got a Rotbier as well. Unfortunately, the spätzle arrived lukewarm, which disappointed me. Looking back, it would've been wiser to have ordered the Franconian dishes on the menu instead. Nevertheless, the beer was pretty good, the ambiance was pleasant, and prices were well-affordable. There's also a beautiful Biergarten right outside, which had a small Christmas market going on when I visited. Would like to return someday to try more of its selection. Let's hope!
