Went here to celebrate my friend's mom's 80th birthday. If you dine here, be sure to get a table…read moreoutside as the inside is a little too cluttered and dark. We were a pretty big group of seven, and it did take the servers a while to get all our drinks and food out to us.
That said, the food itself was very good for being a Pan-Asian restaurant smack-dab in the middle of Germany. The larger main courses were more in the varietal Teishoku style, and their sushi rolls were as good as any you'd eat in the San Francisco Bay Area (which is to say ... pretty good!).
The one thing that put a bit of a damper on the dinner for me was that I'd ordered a half-liter of beer, and asked once again if it was coming out as it had been a while. Well, two different servers returned with a half-liter each, so I had to gulp down a liter of beer in front of my friend's family which probably didn't look so good. :-P
Other than that, Vinami was very good. I would come here again, only next time I'll be sure to ask ONE person for a beer and ask only them if it takes a while to come out.
