I had a great experience at La Bastille two Saturdays ago. I came exactly at 1700. I didn't have a…read morereservation, but I was able to be seated. The bread and olives are complimentary and delicious. I ordered a salad which was wonderful. My mussels came and the sauce, OMG!!!!, so so good. So good for sopping with the extra bread. I ate all of the mussels and I was by myself. Then, my main course came. My Salmon was cooked perfectly. I would go back and have the exact same thing. It was that good. It seems simple but restaurants do get it wrong from time to time. Also, the service was superb. Two young ladies seem to run both inside and outside. Prompt and attentive service. Highly recommend this place. I'll be in Saarbrücken again on Saturday and I'm trying to convince myself to try a new place, but I'm probably just going to go back to La Bastille.
