This is both a bar (Bar Reich) and a restaurant within the Bielefelder Hof. Each have their own…read moremenu made by the same kitchen and are happy to accommodate special requests (a colleague wanted a piece of fish and salad - off menu, they made her a great plate with salmon and salad). Aside from different menus, "frills" within the restaurant not included in the bar: prompt table service, complimentary bread, and a little something from the kitchen ahead of the main course. Both menus have just enough variety, nowhere near an overwhelming variety. Service is pleasant but a little sluggish at times.

And also you have a wide range of variety of foods and drinks you can choose from. The prices are reasonable. Good thing, it's not crowded, so people have enough space. The only reason basically, I give them 4, is that the meat was too roasted, thus it got a bit dry. Besides that, it was awesome.

This is a wonderful must-do when you're looking for terrific food and beer. Classic German fare.read more
