This is a traditional, old world circus. This is NOT cirque, Wringling Bros, etc. There is no mini bike in a hamster wheel or rotating stage. However, this was wonderful. Very small cast. Traditional circus acts you've been seeing for decades. A great excuse to put electronics away and enjoy yourself. Entire cast was sweet. Yes the tickets are expensive but with inflation and the quality of the show, it is worth it. True circus performance is a lost art and these people travel all over to bring. We sourced on the VIP seats and I feel it was well worth it to sit in a chair with a back. I would definitely purely see them a second time if they came to my area. Wonderful show!

I've been to this circus at least three times before, at both the Redwood City location as well as in Monterey, and it consistently offers a welcoming vibe that makes you want to smile. This past weekend, we were entertained by the goofy and impressive Nino the clown and adorable and tasteful live animal acts, like performers juggling while standing on a galloping horse. We were also charmed by the vintage circus atmosphere and the way the staff and performers made guests feel like family. In addition, there were snacks, drinks, and souvenirs for sale on site to create a fully satisfying experience for families and individuals in attendance. A few cons... It was difficult to find parking in the area, the seating was very cramped in the rickety bleachers (due to a bigger audience, almost a full house), no diet soda was available at the concessions stand, and the only "restroom" available on site was a single very dirty porta potty. I appreciate the new acts, though I wouldn't have minded seeing a repeat of last year's 2023 show, which I saw in Monterey and liked slightly better.

This is the second time we attended the Zoppe family circus. The old world charm and contination of generational entertainment is what draws us back! The a ts are spectacular and ever changing. The innovations and creativity of the acts captures your breath. The bigtop is impressive as are the performers. The clown engages the audience in physical engagement. Personally i could not stop smiling or clapping. This years circus brings many acts that make you gasp for breath. Please dont miss the performance in your town. You and your children will love the experience. Tucson,Az.

I cannot think of a better way to close the old and ring in the New Year. What a fantastic time at the Zoppe Circus special New Year's show! As an Italian, this was pure nostalgia! Last pic is me with Giovanni (aka Nino), the circus owner from la Bella Venezia. ‍‍‍ Family is felt in the heart. The entire cast IS the show - working concessions one minute, performing death-defying acts the next. Those WOW moments had me on pins and needles, while the comedy breaks had me laughing uncontrollably! (And yes, the animals are the performers' beloved pets ) As an event producer, I'm in awe of how entertaining and meticulously crafted the entire 2-hour experience was. Every detail thoughtfully executed with passion. All this joy sparked from an accidental discovery while waiting for my train! They're only in Ventura for a few more days - if you're local, I URGE you to go!

What a great Circus! We went with my soon to be 2 yo daughter. She was able to sit through the whole performance. It was fun for all ages, and us adults as well as her were loving it. The circus has very family feel, and we were very happy that circuses like this are still around. There is a little pre-show outside, to be sure to get there when doors open. The main show has two parts with intermission. That was great so we could stretch and run around for a bit. The show has acrobats and horses and dogs and balloons flying in the air...we absolutely loved all about it! To be honest, they could charge much more for what a great show that is. I only hope they are doing well so we can see them again next time again! 5 stars hands down. Would give 10 if I could. The owner is very nice, he is the clown, he talks to people at the end, takes pictures with kids. It was absolutely great! Thank you Zoppe for coming and sharing your home with us

What a fun show!!!! Very entertaining for you, your spouse, lovers, kids, step-kids, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren! Maybe even your pets!! Yes, it's for EVERYONE!! At first, I thought it was lame since they started the show outside, and there were people squishing and coughing around me. I was also uncomfortably cold. I couldn't even freaking hear what they were saying on stage! I was so relieved when they opened the tent for all guests to sit on the stands. I couldn't get front row seats online, but that's okay! We were able to see the show just fine, except when my view was partially blocked by a pole. Fortunately, I was able to move since you could sit anywhere on the stands. There were many ooohs and aaahs, as well as uncontrollable laughter! My fave was the dogs jumping on hoops and horses. I was amazed by the flexible acrobats and juggler! How could he juggle ten or more balls?? I'm not sure how many, but there were a lot! For a fee, they took a picture of the four of us with the famous horse, Picolino. Was that his name? I have to check that picture!! I wanted a remembrance of that great night!! It was so good, I'd definitely see it a again next year!

Entertainment the way it used to be. Alot of fun and humor mixed with talented performances. Definitely a great time enjoyed by the entire family.

For $25 it's quite a show! Dog and pony show! Lots of variety The kids loved it. Juggling, and lots of silliness I'd recommend it

There was also a big tent set up for Tequila tasting but there was not one drop of Tequila in sight or any indication when the event might start. I witnessed about 5 minutes of Music in the main square where a very large group of people had gathered waiting but then... nothing. It was definitely a fun weekend event worth going to (since it was free). You do have to purchase salsa tasting packs though. I bought the 20 dollar pack, but I definitely think that it was unnecessary. Stick to the smaller amount because we had way too much for two people. My gripe is that my top three votes didn't make it to the top three?!?! Wtheck, maybe my tastebuds were off that day.

By the time 2:00pm rolled around, I realized I was hungry and noticed a booth selling BBQ'd oysters, these things were huge! And looked amazing. 3 giants oysters for $10. They had garlic, parsley and as he put them on the plate, the guy scooped pure melted butter and poured on top of them, with a wedge of lemon! Chopin & Chandeliers was an interactive piano with a "play me" sign just calling for musicians among the crowd to showcase their talents and entertain attendees under a shaded tent decorated with chandeliers sculpted from upcycling materials (ie. plastic bottles). The live entertainment was amazing and enjoyable, getting the crowd on its feet and in the mood for this joyous event. The rhythmic sounds of the violin and keyboard, by Tom Rigney & John R Burr, was a treat for my ears. And the late afternoon band on the Waverley Stage, The Cook 'n Fenny Combo, kept the good vibes going, heavy on the harmonica, tambourine, and guitar, performing hits like Joan Osborne's One Of Us. This was a great festival with free admission, lots to see and do, well organized, welcoming atmosphere, friendly people, and easy street parking less than a block away in the afternoon.

Warm, badly mixed Jamba was being upsold at the large size price for medium sizes drinks, and while they had incredibly helpful people at the information booth, the music on the fifth ave stage was really really bad. The teenager on the base was quite a good player, until she opened her mouth and you caught on she was tone deaf. I sat a block away and finally had to put on headphones. The second stage near first ave was much better, with a vocalist who worked the crowd - it really was a pleasure to listen and she was the saving grace of this event for me.
