HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. My husband bought me two months of tanning through Zoom tan. I started my membership on 29 December, and was told to come in and cancel it before 29 January so that I could re-issue a new month using the remaining of my gift card. I came in, tanned on January 28 and then canceled my membership through the manager there. She canceled it for me, but I was charged $42 a few days later, so I returned and asked about being refunded to my normal account so I could use the remaining of my gift card to continue to tan. She apologized and said it was her mistake, but I would have to contact customer service for a refund. When I contacted customer service, it took them six days to respond back to me via email, despite multiple emails and phone calls, and essentially, they called me a liar and stated I never discussed canceling my membership. I hadn't tan since the date I canceled, and I had a witness with me who heard the entire conversation. ZoomTan is not about customers. It's all about scamming and profit. Watch when the class action lawsuit drops because this was ridiculous. I have never been treated so poorly by a business or being called a liar when I had not only a witness with me, but also proof on my dates of tanning that I did infect request cancellation. Awesome customer service and staff working here. Good deals and a good selection of tanning and bronzer products. This place is extremely clean and always spotless they are always on top of things and I've been plenty places that aren't. Ignore the negative review, as it's not accurate at all. read more

I actually have not had any problems with the staff at this establishment. And they are extremely nice and sociable. I would recommend this establishment to people. Not everyone has a negative review. Give it the benefit of the doubt. Just try it out and give it a chance. read more

Called about self tanning and the girl never mentioned they only take credit card. Drove 45 min to get self tanning and the RUDE girl said nope we only take credit card. There is nothing on website stating only take credit card except under frequently asked questions. After the rude and condescending staff, I would drive farther to not deal with this place. read more

Worst place to tan ever. Beds not properly cleaned and the staff are rude. I had a friend who went in and she slipped on the floor of one of the rooms and almost broke her neck. When she brought it to staffs attention a second girl went to clean it while the original employee sat there and said she cleaned it. Obviously not well or maybe she cleaned it by spraying oil all over the room. I've been there a few times but won't go back. The girls at the desk sit and gossip about other employees and the manager. Pretty sad this kind of conversation happens in front of customers. Hearing that doesn't make me feel welcome, neither does the attitudes of the staff when they huff and puff while they walk back to "clean" a room. read more

I wish there was an option for zero stars bc that's what I would have given this business. I wanted to purchase a spray tan package. I travel back and forth from Jamestown to Buffalo quite a bit so I asked if this package was good at all locations (it was expensive)or if it expired. The girl at one of the Buffalo locations assured me it was good at all locations in the country and that it did not expire. I happily purchased the package knowing I would be able to use the expensive pass. When I went to use my package at the Jamestown location, I was told it had expired and I would not be able to use it. I explained what I had been told in Buffalo and the employee couldn't have cared less. I asked her to call her manager or owner and she said there was nothing she could do. Very poor customer service but pretty typical in Jamestown. I will not go back or refer anyone to this business. Business tip for Zoom Tan. If you can see someone has spent a significant amount of money to have a service done at your business, you might want to treat them fairly so they will keep spending their money at your business rather than take their money elsewhere. read more

Horrible experience. Kristen working the counter was not only slow, but she was rude to a customer about the child policy who wasn't informed on it as she stood there for 20 minutes being sold a package with the child standing there. My daughter is 17. Because she chose to keep my maiden name when i got married our last names arent the same. She has prom next month but when we went up to get her a package they wouldnt allow it because the last name on my card didnt match hers! I have never been so offend, as a mother, by a company in my life. How many diverse family are out there today?? To make my daughter socially unacceptable, by an ENTIRE company's blanket rule is horrifying!! This is them saying that my kid isnt eligible for the same treatment as other children who's family's do all carry the same sir name...is that even legal? read more

Only place I'll tan. The girls are always polite, knowledgeable about their products and services, and helpful. I've gotten to know several of them over the years given that I tan regularly at this location. They're like family and they treat everyone I've seen then wait on with respect and courtesy. The fact that I can use my package to any location is a huge bonus, and their prices really can't be beat by the independent salons. Their beds are always maintained, too. read more
