Our preference was to hangout downstairs, with our drinks, closest to dance floor. The server was adamant that we were not allowed to sit/stand around round bar tables due to our group size. Interestingly, we had witnessed 1 round table and 1 booth, neither tables had bottle service. Instead, we saw buckets of beers, like ours. In addition to our seating issue, I had ordered a lemonade drink, waited 15 minutes or so, got tired of waiting so I walked over to the bar downstairs and placed my order. Not sure where our server went. For having so many servers all over the club (upstairs and downstairs), sadly, could not even get one non alcoholic drink delivered to me in a timely manner. Like I said, their focus is on bottle service. Liked- choice of music and mermaid show Disliked - club's service (definitely not accommodating) and dj was not engaging, he needs to get the crowd pumped up, but he did play good music. We also got the shrimp summer roll appetizer, a margarita, a cocktail with mezcal, orange juice and grenadine, and the churros for dessert. Did I mention the view of the private beach? It felt like our own private resort getaway. The restaurant is at the bottom of what seems like a decent size mountain with many hotels and houses along the way. When we come back to Huatulco, this will be our special dinner for the trip again.

The place is small so I would definitely make reservations just in case. Appetizers : calamari 5/10 tuna with black sauce and sesame 10/10 We ordered 3 entrees because they all looked so good. Spaghetti shrimp 8/10 octopus 9/10 catch of the day (mahi mahi). 10/10 Everything was fantastic and we would 100% order them again. Definitely a lot of food for 2- we were stuffed. But of course we had to order dessert. Previous reviews said to try the Oreos fritos with vanilla ice cream and wow- so so good. 10/10. The churros with condensed milk and chocolate were a great hit too. 8/10 We hope to come back to try all of the other delicious items on the menu.
