This is by far the best internet provider for Steamboat Springs especially outside the city limits! They are responsive, caring and always working to improve the services. LISA is amazing. She has lots of great ideas and her concern for us as her clients is exemplary! Excellent customer service! We have been looking to upgrade my mom's internet & cell phone and had so many questions and concerns. We worked with Lisa and she was so helpful and understanding of our needs. After several emails and phone conversations we decided that small steps to putting together my mom's service package was the best approach. Even though we did not elect to go with Zirkel right now, Lisa gave us some great ideas on how to approach my mom's entire phone/internet set up (Lisa has a vast knowledge of the connectivity world!). It is not often that a business will offer this type of customer service once they find out you will not be using their service, but Zirkel (Lisa) was phenomenal in this respect. I simply don't believe the previous review, which sounds entirely made up. Zirkel may not be perfect, but they are excellent at customer service. There call back system works all the time. The technical support people are very good. I have had hardware and tower issues over the years that I have been with Zirkel. While causing some inconvenience, these problems were resolved in a professional manner and timely. They are not the cheapest service, but living rurally, they provide a great product for a competitive price. read more

I signed up with Zirkel because the equipment was already installed in my condo when I moved in. After several service calls to fix faulty hardware, it seemed to be OK. Over time it became simply useless as a service because of how slow the connection is and it only works on the second floor of the condo. I waited the required 6 months, and called to cancel the service. No one ever answers the phone so after several days of phone tag, the service is cancelled. The kicker after all of this is they now want to charge me to remove their equipment. I've left messages and sent emails and they charged me anyway. Now I have to open a dispute for the charge. I never signed an agreement to this fee, so it just adds to the frustration. I would not recommend Zirkel to anyone. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! This is the classic bait and switch of what is promised to you! Signed up with their service on Friday with the expectation the TURBO plan can handle a simple ZOOM call because I was advised that from JEB at (970)-871-8500 that plan would meet my needs. After being embarrassed from a poor connection one of my colleagues sent me a link for a (speedtest) for my connection and the results were extremely lower than what I agreed to WITH ZIRKEL. I have only been with this company for 3 days and after my normal Monday meeting I called JEB at ZIRKEL to help me resolve my problems. His unprofessional arrogant condensing customer service approach is unacceptable for anyone else to experience. He solution was SORRY DUDE you signed the Contract on FRIDAY. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE THE REMANIDER OF YOUR CONTRACT. I asked him is their anything else he could do and he said go talk to my managers yourself it's not my problem HE did give me the OWNERS' name ALAN BELEUO and I ask for his number to discuss my frustrations and JEB refused to transfer me or allow me to talk with anyone else. The final STRAW was he simply HUNG UP ON ME!! I am extremely disappointed with this company and especially JEB at Zirkel! I have been with ZIRKEL Wireless over 10 years. The internet service is outstanding. I work from home and have 2 gamers that require consistent reliable service. Unsurpassed is their team of highly qualified technicians and customer service representatives. It is so easy to pick up the phone and get someone direct, like Trey, to walk me through any issues (typically user error)! Recently, I moved and my landlord was very specific on the dish placement requirements. John, our technician, listened thoroughly to her concerns and questions and closely worked with her and us to get us optimal internet service. He went through every room to make sure that the new (awesome) router was placed so that it hit all three levels, offices and rooms.
