A short little sales clerk, maybe suffering from insecurities arising as a result, but an insufferable prick nonetheless.

The store has the feeling of a well-stocked local liquor store. Prices for beer were as expected, liquor seemed a little higher than I'm used to in Texas, also not unexpected in a small mountain town. The owner was quite friendly and helpful. I visited during COVID-19 so I never saw his face. But, he had smiley eyes and assisted me in finding several items I needed. Our group was curious about local craft beers and found a decent selection from the four local breweries and from Avery Brewing in Boulder, of which we are also fans. The store is conveniently located on the west end of town, not far from where we were staying. Had a great experience!

Granted Steamboat Springs is like a ten minute commute altogether for tourists so it really is all in close proximity. This particular liquor shop is adjacent to the gas station so you can load up on gas and a few other goodies. The bathrooms here are actually pretty clean so I really appreciate that. If I'm ever back in town I'll definitely come back here. Make sure to load up though because hours of selling fluctuate for the town!
