I talked to the attendent, he pointed at a sign next to the entrance of the carwash, mind you the sign wasnt readable from behind the gate. He said that the sign indicated that car antennas had to be REMOVED otberwise the top brush wouldnt come down. Ive been through this carwash 5-6 times before and never had an issue. These people need to relocate that sign to the entrance where cars pull into the line NOT after its too late. I DON NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION, UNLESS YOU WANT A SORRY CARWASH OR WANT TO DISASSEMBLE YOUR CAR TO GET IT CLEAN.

After driving around these parts for a few days I was looking to get a little dust and grime off…read morethe Jeep, it not only looks more appealing it drives so much better lol whether or not that's true most everyone believes it to be. Every small town has its share of entrepreneurs and I'm guessing the same is true here it seems like R-S may be the one, there are a string of business along Railroad Avenue in Rutherfordton, NC that carry the name. I flipped a u-turn when I spotted this especially interesting carwash - the clear wash tunnel is unique from where I come from and the heavy duty wash apparatus was also a little different than what I'm use to experiencing, after anteing up the twelve dollars for the "supreme" wash it was game on. I crept in slowly to let the undercarriage and wheel blasters do their magic having no clue what was in store, the water pressure here is incredible. I don't know maybe the mountains or elevation physically alters something and the end result is this barrage of water that shakes the earth. Once in position the fun begins, the super heavy lathering soaked mop tentacles consumed my Jeep, the smearing and smattering soap continued for what seemed like hours, my side mirrors flipped outward then inward it was an unbelievable experience I almost wanted to do it again, it was definitely worth the price of admission. No matter the fun the bottom line is the end result so a full inspection was in order after the ride ended. This place is awesome and the transparent walls just enhances the experience - for me this is a top five things you must do when visiting the area I guess I'm easily amused...

I chose the premium wash and it was super fast but maybe too fast as the suv was very wet even after going through the super dry process so I spent a lot of time drying it off. But the vacuum was good and there's plenty of stalls but this just didn't do it for me so I'll keep looking.

I purchased the $15 wash and feel I accomplished my agenda. This wash doesn't replace a good hand washing in my driveway and definitely isn't meant to be a detail shop quality wash but it did a nice job and I'm feeling much better after visiting this business. There is a great series of pre-soak measures before the powerful wash jets engaged followed by additional paint protection chemicals and finally a spot free rinse and a blow dryer that has ample time if you utilize it correctly. I don't know what else an owner could do to provide a better wash in five minutes or so, if you're looking for a spic n span clean and polished wash get off your butt and hand-wash it yourself or take it to a detail shop for 10x the money - this wash does exactly what it's suppose to do, there are no issues here...
