I am a frequent customer and have always enjoyed this car wash for the service, free vacuuming, and the great cleaning it does for a dirty vehicle. Yesterday, I was a little disappointed. I went through the right gate after selecting and paying for a $16 package (with a copy of my receipt). The arm went up and advised me to proceed forward - I did. Before clearing the area, the arm came back down on my vehicle. When I approached the wash area, I explained this to the staff who checked out my vehicle (no damaged noted), and apologized for the inconvenience. Secondly, as I proceeded through the wash, I immediately noticed that I was not getting the full package for which I paid. This was unusual, so it was something that immediately caught my attention. When I left the wash area, I went to the vacuum stations and found an attendant to advise of my concern that the wash did not provide the service that I paid. He examined my vehicle and notice that the first thing was it did not provide the tire shine. That was a BIG clue, in addition to me having my receipt. The attendant came back after speaking with his manager and provided me a gift card for $16, so I went back through the payment system and the wash area ... only to discover the same issue occurred. I do not know why this happened, but this needs to be looked into ASAP. As a customer, I want to receive what I paid for ... if I am paying $16 for the maximum package per wash and going through the wash area only to receive a wash service for far less, that is upsetting. I appreciate the attempt to resolve the issue by offering a gift card of equal value, but going back through the second time didn't change. PLEASE RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH THE WASH AREA ... the car wash is always clean and the service has been great, but this issue yesterday was frustrating. I didn't have the energy to go back and complain again ... I really just felt like it wasn't anything they could do to fix the problem with a long line of cars waiting for service, anyway. Paid my 12 bucks and waited in line, once it was my turn the guy tells me I only paid for a "water wash"....if I want soap I will need to upgrade...he was holding each driver hostage right when they were about to pull in the wash. Explains the long wait and I let him know that I didn't believe that for a second. Rolled through, there was soap...will never go back. Crooked. Avoid this wash, too many other options. read more

Part of this review is documenting the damage received at zips today. I drive an uncommon car and the technician guiding me into the track system was more interested in looking at my car than guiding me in. The left front tire and wheel hit the edge entering and made a loud noise. I asked him if there was damage - he briefly looked and said, "no, it's all good". After the wash I got out of the car and saw a 2-3 inch gash in the side wall tire and a scuff mark in the rim. I documented the damage with Mark who I assume is the manager and would not give me his last name because, "I never give out my last name". He said someone will be in touch in 72 hours. When I asked for a phone number or claim number he didn't have one. My name will be the reference on the incident report. He ended up making me a copy of the paper report. 72 hours is by Saturday 12:15pm. I'll update score and report Based in service I receive. See pictures for detail. Part 2: 73 hours later and no call. Called the number given to follow up and reached fast busy signal. I drove to zips. Sam mark no last name in office. Supervisor josh sitting behind the desk with a care less smirk. Said he was waiting for his district manager. I called Eric and left a message (DM). As I was typing this Eric called and said he will meet me at a tire shop next week and buy the tire. More to come. read more

I'm going to concur with the three star rating--guy at the gate was very helpful. But when you pay a minimum of $10 for a wash, it seems to me there shouldn't be bugs on the front after the SECOND time through. THEY DON'T GET THE BUGS OFF. read more

Absolutely horrible establishment. Please don't sign up for the monthly membership!!! I repeat please don't sign up for the membership. I have a membershitp that I have tried to cancel for 3 months and they still are charging me. On top of that they don't even honor my membership, they keep telling me that my account is closedd, meanwhile i'm continuing to be charged!!! At $10 for the lowest cost wash, you'd think they would do a decent job compared to other cheaper options nearby. But half the machines in the wash were not operating, and the result is subpar. Don't waste your money. read more

Avoid Zip Car Wash in Memphis! The car wash brush ripped the tail light off a brand new Jeep. The attendant retrieved the broken housing from the wash tunnel and said this had happened before. With photos of the brush still hanging in the tail light and the broken lens retrieved from the tunnel, I completed the damage report and later provided the cost of the repair. After a month of attempting to get someone from Zip to talk to and four visits to the site, Eric Wells called to say it was not their fault. read more

Drive thru car wash, alike what you may expect from any gas station car wash. Picking a package and paying are done with an automated system, you drive in and pass the receipt to a clerk who checks your mirrors, antennae, etc. I got the works wash which did a pretty good job with getting the bugs off the front of the car. Though it wasn't that very hot water or sprayed at a too high velocity. I'd tell you to aim earlier in the day, I could tell the soap was a bit lacking. I got it with the wax, the car looked fantastic for a good few days. read more

I've used this carwash many times over the years because it's near my home. The last couple times I've gone it's been horrible. I don't know what they've done with the vacuum suction but it does nothing. I changed machines and the same. I also saw multiple cars moving to other machines just to end up leaving without cleaning their cars. I frequent there because of the value but will no longer because I'm not getting what I pay for and what's advertised. Disappointed! read more

Same old Boomerang, new name. Only one worker at 4.45p on a Tue and he shut down the wash for 15 min to check the vacuums, leaving a line of about 7-8 cars. No hand brush/broom for tough spots before entering. Dryer is so/so, only a 3/5. Still, one of the better around here. read more

I used Boomerang for the first time in March and was impressed with their efficiency, function, moderate price and thoroughness, but what really wowed me....."free vacuuming" with no time restrictions - the vacuums are awesome.
