Mary was super nice explaining the history and how her family came to own the winery formerly known as St. Mary. The first three tastings are free and you can purchase additional tastings for $5. Three was plenty for us to decide which glasses and bottles to order. Her special sangria was delicious and the perfect slushy drink for the hot Texas day in early July. We ordered a bottle to go as well. The patio was not bad with a slight breeze and fans. The grapes they grow and make wine on site are sweet, however they partner with another winery for dryer wines. One of the washers was out of service during our visit, and the large pothole at the second entrance needs attention. Other than that, this is a great place to stop for a reset, a shower, a meal, or an overnight break. We'd happily stop here again.
