Zip and Slip is a nice place to visit with family/friends. It's not a black diamond but it's cool, especially for the little ones. The prices are relatively cheap and they provide everything you need (tube, hand warmers, marshmallows when you're done tubing). There are 8-9 lanes to choose from and an escalator to bring you to the top. Overall pretty nice place to bring the family.

Weather is so unpredictable!! We knew we wanted to go tubing while in Ashville this past December. We had looked at some options but most were closed due to the warmer temperatures they weren't expecting. Luckily Zip and Slip had special machines to get the snow going and allow us to enjoy this winter attraction, even at 60 degrees. Yes, it's the warmest I thing any of us there has eve been tubing :p Tickets can be bought online, starting at 1hr sessions. Once there, "check in" process was easy, and the gentleman at the booth was so niche and cheerful, making the experience even better. At the top of the conveyor lift, they have someone telling everyone how to get off, and helping the ones that needed it, making sure there were no accidents. At the end of your time at the hill, you would come back to the check-in booth where they gave us marshmallows to roast on the fire to end our time there. Very sweet ending! They also had snacks and hot chocolate for purchase. Very happy Zip and Slip was open for us to have a bit of Winter Fun!

Zip and Slip was a great spot to stop in! We were staying in Asheville. We had planned to go to another place and we were told to watch the website to see when slots would come up but they never did and when we called again they said closed. The next closest spot was booked. I called Zip n slip and expected them to be totally booked but they weren't! When I called a really nice and surprisingly cheerful fella told me they were open and they had special machines that could make snow at a warmer temperature. We bought our tickets on line and drove out a couple days later. it was 60 degrees out but sure enough, they had a hill of snow! We went down a few times and also enjoyed a couple of the complimentary marshmallows they had by a fire. It was a good time that defied the weather. There was families there all enjoying the rare snow. We were very grateful that Zip n Slip were there to save the day.

Brought the family tubing for the first time! My littles are pretty young, so I appreciated that the slopes weren't huge. Even so, going down is fast and fun regardless of your age! My 4 year old had a blast, but my 2 younger ones preferred to stay in their small indoor space and sip some hot cocoa to keep warm. It was a little unclear when we got there where to get our tickets. We were greeted by someone tending a fire pit who said they were trying to stay warm. And then we stood outside as someone spoke to another family about the slopes. After a few minutes, the owner, I'm assuming, came over and said they moved their check in inside because of the cold (came during the arctic blast!). So we moved inside to the small area with seating where I was relieved to find a little fire roasting inside, and melt our frozen bodies for a few minutes. I appreciated that they offer beanies, gloves, face masks (for cold), and hand warmers among their small selection of concessions. After getting our tickets, we lingered, replacing our hats and gloves and opening our newly purchased hand warmers. Then headed back out to enjoy the slopes. The reason I give 3 stars is because aside from being told the check in was inside, we weren't given any other direction. But after a while I noticed that every other family that came after us was given instructions on how to go about the slopes and tubes. I apparently rode mine wrong too, because I sat all the way in, like a seat, and felt every bump of ice along my tail bone... not fun. I ventured it again afterward and sat higher up this time and had a much better time. When our time was up and we were gathering up to leave, I heard the owner talking to another family about the directions and saying that everyone gets a free marshmallow to roast. Well......... I guess not everyone. All in all, it's a great little spot. The cocoa was great, the slopes were fun (when ridden correctly), and I was happy there was some indoor section to hide from the 10 degree temperature outside. I guess we just slipped passed the employees somehow for our briefing.

Where you check in and warm observation room.

This experience far exceeded every expectation and hope! We had a group of 6. They were so kind and helpful. Explained tips while waiting to check in, letting folks know they were sold out so they didn't have to wait in line or anything unnecessarily. I have a disability and use a cane, and it was no issue. Someone was at the top to assist if I needed it. Everyone was just so kind and helpful. Prices for cocoa, chips, gear, etc. were so reasonable that I was shocked - and super appreciative!!! They even give marshmallows for roasting. Overall one of the best experiences at any attraction at all similar. Just perfect!

We decided to snow tube here with the kids. The good: they had a great time and the location is super close with just a short 30 min drive from Asheville. The bad: we went late in the afternoon and the beautiful snow that you see in photos was no longer. Social media is funny like that sometimes...felt like it was one of those Instagram versus Reality moments. The snow was dirty, pretty compacted and slippery in some parts, and at the bottom of the slope it was pretty muddy the first 3 lanes. We were filthy afterwards, we didn't care too much about being dirty but I was not expecting it - so be prepared. There isn't really anywhere to change and get cleaned up. The one bathroom they had was pretty gnarly. We were hiking this week so I had a tarp down in the trunk already for dirty gear. The kids literally took off their muddy layers and boots in the back of the van, and then climbed into their seats. The tarp saved us a major cleaning! There also wasn't much customer service--we did reservations ahead of time online, arrived to sign waivers and get reservation slot stickers to wear. Wasn't told what we needed to do after - no communication or clear instructions and didn't really see any staff anywhere. We just figured it out on our own. Overall, we had a fun time-- just manage your expectations.

snow tubing. Absolute fun. 22 dollars per adult for a one hour ticket which is more than enough as you can go 7-8 rounds. Their slopes seem bigger than Wolf ridge tubing. If you have a toddler who still can't ski, would recommend this. And you get free marshmallows at the end that you can fry and eat from there.

Perfect for some family fun! This is such a great location for tubing and keeping the family entertained. It beats going to the large commercialized locations where you can only go down a few times because of large crowds. This place was perfect the family really got their money's worth and had the opportunity to go on plenty of rounds of tubing. They have a food truck on site. Parking is perfect you are very close to your car so getting things to and from the car is easy. Pricing is very reasonable especially when you have a large family. We look forward to coming back.

Although I had a great time doing something different especially on Christmas Day , I was a little disappointed with the slope. When booking online the slope looks like it's a huge mountain but in person it's not that big at all. The slope is not that steep as it is pictured online . They were giving out free marshmallows after you got done with the slope and there was also a fire pit there to roast them. Make sure you wear shoes that you don't mind getting dirty as you can get pretty messy out there .. all in all it was a great experience.

Thanks for the best time ever! The people in charge are so amazingly friendly and explain everything in detail. We had such a blast even though the snow was limited (not their fault). It had been extremely warm and had melted a lot of the snow but Zip' and Slip had enough for us to have a couple of hours of exhausting fun. Hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows rounded out the rest of the day. Great fun had by all! I would recommend this awesomely, friendly place to anyone looking for something Fun to do in the area. Ps. Food trucks come by in the afternoon also.

Zip and Slip was a great Christmas activity this year. We were looking forward to this and had a lot of fun. I must say I was a little disappointed as I expected better slopes according to the pics on their website, however, it was still a non traditional christmas activity and we had fun. I do have to take away a few stars because there are NO Covid protocols in place at all. I think that they should most definitely have someone spraying down the tubes as they are recycled amongst guest and the bathrooms were horrible. Outside of that, don't expect much but to have fun going up and down the slopes and you will have a great time!

We had a great time at zip and slip

I really enjoyed to slide down the snow, only problem is that they don't clean the tubes so it will be dirty

A great time and a great way to spend a morning- even for adults. The slopes are fast and they have hot drinks if needed!
