The prices overall are high. Often paying for one item what you could purchase 3 of online or in castlegar Parking is a major pain, expect to circle the block several times in order to get a parking space or parking 4 blocks away and walking. My overall experience in this shop was horrible from day one and only ever go here if I'm in a pinch and cannot make my purchases online or in castlegar. Recently, I was on a six-day road cycling trip with a rest day in Nelson, BC. Over the first few…read moredays of the trip the shifting on my rear derailleur had become very difficult. I brought my bike into Gerick Cycle and after a brief explanation and demonstration to one of the mechanics, I left to see the town. I returned to the shop when I was told my bike would be ready to find it was just finished. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it shifted better than when it was new and it was tuned to perfection. I'm happy to say that Gerick's completed the repair on-the-spot and for a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend them.

Owner Deanna was very rude and talks too much. I contacted paypal and asked for help. Deanna said that i am fraudulent for making fake claims from paypal. I claimed "item not as described" which is true as they said their boots were comfy while I don't find them comfy at all. After contacting paypal, Deanna asked me to ship back the item to them with a very long and rude email. Will be the 1st and last purchase. Not happy with this company especially with the owner.
