Zingariello Masonry and Paving is outstanding. I truly stand by what I say when I say they are the best masonry and paving company out there. My parents had their driveway paved NINETEEN years ago and it's still looking great! They just put down a patio in my yard and I am so pleased. I rarely write reviews, but this company is very deserving. I hired them because they were recommended by a co worker of mine, they said they are reasonable and very tedious with their work. I was looking for a simple blacktop driveway with new belgium block on the side and a new apron. The work came out beautiful! The workers were extremely nice and careful not to hurt anything along the side of my driveway, like my wife's flowers! The job takes time, they came in August to rip out the driveway, then it had to settle for some time. My only complaint is I waited a little longer than expected but in the end it's definitely worth it! I have gotten many recommendations to use this company so I decided to give it a try. My neighbors both on the left and right used them and my sister. About two months ago I called for an estimate and the owner Joe was at my door 2 days later. He explained that the weather was a little iffy to begin the process plus he has other jobs so I would have to wait a few weeks. Well let me tell you ... well worth the wait! During these times of crises, I'm happy to support a local company. Especially one that take as much pride in their work as these guys. I have had several prices on my driveway, patio, walkway and sitting wall. Joe was the only one that didn't push to sell me anything. I'm writing this review based on work from last year because I realized I never did and it's more than deserved. Joe and his father are unbelievable. If you want TRUE mason work you need to go to a TRUE Italian company, call me picky but every single job they have done for me has been remarkable. I had my front steps done and steps to my pool area. They did paver walkways in my backyard. My driveway was done over 12 years ago and is still in perfect condition. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! I got a patio, fire pit and outdoor kitchen done by them and I love it more than the inside of my house lol. Be prepared to WAIT for them as they are always extremely busy . Waiting is worth it though in my opinion. We hired them 3 years ago for our driveway and got impatient, had someone else do it and it's already lifting up. Hired this company out of chance, needed my driveway done and saw them working in the area so I asked if they could give me an estimate. I'm so happy I did! I "technically" did not hire this company but they were working next door to my house today in Metuchen. I asked them if someone could come over for an estimate to fix a brick that had lifted, it was a concern since my mother is elderly. The man said give me 30 mins, he actually fixed the piece with extra concrete that he had and didn't even charge me! I was not expecting that at all, of course I tipped him. But when do you ever hear that ! So kind and I will definitely hire them when I need work done. read more

I have used Joe several times for my rental properties and I'll use him as long as he's running his business. If you're looking for quality work vs. average work, this is the difference. He is very articulate with his work, and voices his opinions on what will look best or work best. He's an honest guy and won't try to sell you on anything that you're not looking for. COVID put a lot of delays on my project naturally, but it's always worth it to wait for GREAT work. I replaced my patio and walkway and added some cultured stone on the front of my house. The owner helped me pick out colors that would compliment our new house. Very efficient, hard working and polite. I will use them again for our next project. Used this company after another local company messed my driveway up. I had to wait a very long time but at least they fixed it and did it right! I am extremely pleased with the nice work they did at my office building. I own 2 buildings in edison and metuchen. They both needed a new parking lot, and sidewalks.
